She grew so much throughout the show ‘cause she wouldn’t just do stuff like this in season 1. I remember her doing it occasionally throughout the seasons and then she got to a point where she grew out of it. Couldn’t stand her in season one and she had moments throughout where I’m like ‘girl, for real,’ but by the end of the series, she grew to be one of my favorites. I can’t speak for everyone but I think she has some of the best character development, not just in the tvdu but some of the best I’ve ever seen and she grew to be one of the most likable characters.

4:39 watching and hearing Elena tell Caroline to her face what made her jump in bed with Damon is insane to me considering she saw firsthand the aftermath of Caroline's body. That is so tasteless and just so cruel and I hate that the show continues to brush it under the rug. What happend between them was not consensual Caroline was underage, she was compelled, she was sexually abused. She did not give consent and if she did she was compelled to do so. Damon did a lot of heinous shit but doing it's a Caroline while dating her best friend and expecting for her to be okay with it, is insane.
