Just when you thought there weren't any more mindbogglingly fantastic 'verb pedals to check out, a wild Caroline Guitars appears, hitting like a meteor, which is super effective. Great job on the swirling demo guys.
Thank you for this great review of this wonderful pedal that I must now have. It is a nice fresh of air to have a review entertain and teach at the same time! There are a ton of pedal ads/reviews on the YT. So why be boring and sit there and spout names and numbers at us?!? Or worse, just flip through all the useless settings of the pedal and say nothing at all?? That isn't even trying! So thank you for NOT taking yourself too seriously and sharing this great pedal!
+pdg887 Good question. It doesn't - there's a buffered dry signal at unity always in parallel, and the level sets the volume of the effected signal. The reason we did it this way is that the drive preamp has a LOT of gain and it's easier to balance the wet and dry this way. It can very easily seem that that it is 100% wet because the wet can be set MUCH louder.
Loving the pedal's sounds, but you really need to correct the spelling errors on the page on your site. The company name is spelt wrong for crying out loud.
+Joel Bauman grammarist.com/spelling/spelled-spelt/ In American English, spelt primarily refers to the hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe, and the verb spell makes spelled in the past tense and as a past participle. In all other main varieties of English, spelt and spelled both work as the past tense and past participle of spell, at least where spell means to form words letter by letter or (with out) to make clear. *Outside the U.S., the two forms are interchangeable in these uses, and both are common*." If you'd checked anything but Wikipedia, you'd see I'm not wrong. Whereas the spelling of some of the description of the item on the website was objectively wrong.
I love how they have to intercut shots with the ultra beta hipster complete with lumberjack beard, tattoos, and fender jaguar. You're a long way from Williamsburg, hipster.
I think this interview/review is very childish. How rude can you be to Mr. Herndon? thats one way to showcase a guitar pedal and totally ruin its future with no sales due to this immature interview. Please stop and redo this video and talk SERIOUSLY about the capabilities of this pedal and dude, stop messing with kids. Its cruelty. -said no one ever
I agree with the comments that this "between two ferns" style humor is unwanted here. with quality recording techniques, I'd much rather hear the good job they did without being completely turned off by out of place abrasiveness.
