Hi, everybody.
I am delighted today to introduce my weekly mini seminars that I'm going to be doing on the Power of Archetypes.
Now what I want to do in this these weekly messages to you is to follow a format. Each week, I’ll pick a different archetype and explore it in depth. A particular archetype could be from healer, to networker to addict to warrior to judge, etc. And then I'm going to apply that archetype to an individual life. Because an archetypal pattern is so vast and so rich and so multi layered, it's impossible to describe it, or apply it to everybody's life the same way. But I'll do my best to make it general specific enough that you can relate to it. Then what I'm going to do is take an archetypal pattern, and apply it as best as I can to what is happening in the world around us. I am so amazed by the ways the universe worsk. Law of attraction is so strong. I am on a deprivation at the moment and stumbled upon your talks and I’ve now been interested in your „Archetype series“ and you start talking about addiction and address the vampiric archetype that I thought about yesterday. Some of the things you said were exactly the concepts I thought about. As I said I am amazed and in the end all I want to say is two things. First of all I am so thankful hearing this from you. Hi Caroline, a student of Robert, I love you mention the Addict Pattern, because I recently bought a journal planner from Clever Fox, to journal about letting go of things that no longer serve you, normally it's for addicts, the pages in the journal planner, you can also use for other things, they also recommend that you can use it in different ways. I bought the Lunar Life Cycle Report on your site, and I am in the last moon phase before new moon phase of my life, May this year a third new moon cycle begins for me, only four months left to it, I will journal those four months to do a deep undoing or letting go of all that doesn't serve me anymore, I am also doing a workshop it's called ' open your heart ' it's about healing the heart space where you break a ceramic heart, on the broken pieces you write things down, then you glew with gold glew the pieces back together, it's shadow work on the heart, they are from the Netherlands.

Yes, thank you. I've listened to you often when I take a break from listening to dhamma. I, too, was brought up Catholic. Born in 1952. Only with a huge layer of basement living combined. That sounds harsh. Tough environment to break free from. I'm not sure what floor I'm on. I float between many. Most are above with aspirations. I'm looking forward to listening to what I am fortunate to catch as I breathe between the floor landings. Sometimes I think about playing you in a movie... 🌺✨️🎭. It's not the first time. I’d like to share my “Eureka!” moment since working through your wonderful book “Sacred Contracts”. I see how our archetypes relate intimately to each other, sometimes in opposition, sometimes powerfully connected - for self-development and healing, this should be used to the max. So my recent “Eureka!” moment? In wondering how to get over a recent emotional despair caused by my shadow Addict, I realised that I could use my Saboteur to restore peace of mind - through simple, practical actions like consciously avoiding the person (unlike my past in which I'd do the complete opposite). It’s not been easy (and why would it be, when our Addict has such power over us if we allow it?), but knowing that I can regain my energies and not waste them on things or people that ultimately return no dividends is a relief. God bless, and keep bringing us your wisdom and insights.

The building model brings up an interesting point for discussion. So , as you say, the first floor of the building is basically your upbringing. Well, my upbringing was absolutely horrible. I was built to believe that I was nothing but a servant and a whipping post for my mother. I believe that I have , after fifty five years and near death, remodeled the first floor. The only problem is that the beams and posts which support that floor still have remnants of the absolute dysfunction that served as the first floor for many years. How do I fix that part of the structure?

i’m interested but why make the Divine only an impersonal power? This strikes me as highly dualistic. The Divine can be both personal (personified being but not merely anthropomorphic) and also impersonal energies. Just like ourselves, we are energy AND persons. I hope your talks on archetypes, which sound wonderful for the most part, won’t ask us to relegate God/Godess to only Their impersonal aspects but also honor Their Personhood.
