Maybe it’s just me but I’ve stopped using spinner rigs and rigs with so many moving parts, I’ve lost so many bites just lately.

Personally not had too much of a problem with them mate to be honest. Maybe you have other factors to consider ie hook size to bait ratio, buoyancy of the bait after you bring it in in the morning if you leave it out over night, are they still popped up?.

Thanks Mark appreciate the support mate. It’s been a difficult year, stalking near impossible due to the extra pressure on the lakes and no french adventure to document. Being a weekend angler it’s difficult to get on the fish with so much pressure

@@waitingfortheweekend2441 great angling. Can I ask what you ended up feeding at the end and how often. Was it recast with two mediums to top up. Trying to gauge it is hard with some of the other lakes appearing to not respond to tipping up and the spod or spomb scaring the fish away. Thanks again Paul.

@@paulclark22 Hi Paul when I was there I found in the end a quick recast and two medium spombs was enough to be getting bites every hour in the morning feeding spell. Due to social media too much bait goes into every carp lake regardless of the stock level or weather conditions if someone asks how much bait to put in most answers will be to fill it in, Or I put 5 kilo in and had 20 runs. The problem is every day is different how much has the guy before put in? Let the fish show you where they want to be, bait lightly and if you get runs build from there. Norton Disney is a complex where the best Angler’s get rewarded for fishing well and building the swim up.
