Love this channel and the basic/simple approach to fishing it brings. Don't use all the expensive kit, as it is not needed. The stuff they use is for the average working family man. They are really awesome and helpful fellas.

If you know the venue, then you can normally base your tactics around the weather conditions. Saves lots of messing about and carrying to much gear!

Hugh's fish was 28lb 5oz. What wide gapes were you using? Maybe it hit more bone in the fishes mouth as the angle you were showing at showed it possibly had a deformed mouth

No significant mouth damage, it was hooked bottom lip In the flesh. Think it might have been a bad hook, was giving it some pressure but not overly. Hook was a Korda wide gape
