100 subscribers goal has been reached. 🎆🎆 Thank you all for your support! 😄 I'm currently remixing Sexkiller on the Loose (I hope I will have it done before the end of November). Synthwave RULES!!! 🎹
Honestly I feel like this is the other side of the Turbo Killer coin. If the Brut vers. (for me) is very fast paced Rock and darksynth, this one is listening to that version but just being refracted and reflected back on wind chimes and glass Whereas the Brut's version is all high adrenaline and making you feel like you're in a very dangerous car chase, this version makes me imagine driving my synthwave car on a infinite neon highway, completely relaxed and hearing it coming through the radio. Tl,dr : for me both versions are acting like a drug, one makes me imagine driving like a maniac or makes me feel like I just ran a marathon and the other makes me completely relax and just enjoy the scenery while still having the fast paced structure of the Brut (ps : sorry I rambled over this and im kinda mad that you dont have more subs, you definitely deserve them)
True, Brut's songs are so full of energy. I have tried to make it as energic as him, but no success, so I've chosen to make it more spacewave or outrun, play more with the melodies and composition. Also thank you for your analysis.
I've personally never heard brut's version as a car chase, I've heard the opening as someone quickly deciding that violence is the best and only solution to their problem, and then them solving that problem. This version has a similar sense of determination, but the violence isn't mandatory (late ass reply I know)
@@wynngwynn I agree, and being turned off initially wasn't fair of me because that usually only happens when the song is just unrecognizable, which this mix isn't
Wow its often really hard to take a great song, and do something very original with it while still keeping that degree of quality. Great work, subscribed and liked. Thanks for making my Monday morning :).
