At 23yo, I wasn't even born when Karen died and the Carpenters with her - but their music transcends generations. I remember my grandparents had a cassette tape with the Carpenters on it in their car, and when I rode with them I would always demand that they played it. Songs like Yesterday Once More and The End of the World will always be with me, and I promise it will be with my kids as well. Music as art, truly great.
