George Lackey, no different than the trash coupon magazines we get in our mailboxes twice a week. The man’s frustration is understandable but it’s clear he’s unstable. The town has no choice but to let him rant his ass off if it makes him feel better.
I’m a big fan of this show, I’m binge watching episodes. I have to agree with this guy, junk ads are annoying and wasteful, even the mail man that’s all he brings, that’s how they justify their existence these days, literally I have no paper bills and I never get any mail with my name on it, always “resident” or “our friends at “.... fucking ridiculous.
It must be really confusing and hard to adapt when you live way out in the middle of Whitesville and never come into contact with other races, cultures, languages, etc. They must be so surprised when they finally leave the plains or the woods to go visit their grandkids who moved to the coast and learn that America isn't 100% white and 100% English speaking. Just because you only speak one language doesn't mean the rest of us can't learn more or speak a different language with our family and friends.

He is parsing semantics like a good politician always should. Of course he is being paid by the taxpayers, but that is just the first tier. He thinks because the old man doesn't write him a check that he isn't being paid using his money. It is a matter of perspective from where the money comes firsthand, and because there are so many tiers (tax payer, bank, city counsel, internal finances, corporation of the trust), he thinks he can wiggle his way out of admitting to being paid by John Q. Public. He cannot, and his attempt to do so disgraces him as a member of the BAR and as an elected official.

I like how people will be like "We need to save and recycle paper!" But yet there is still people like where i live there was 3 doors into the house. They would put multiple newspapers at every door every day even after being told not to.
The attorney was wrong. They can do it on public property but private property is subject to littering laws. The issue could have been cleared up if the attorney knew the law.
