You really and I mean really help to take my decision about which packet I will need from magic wand , I have few questions hope are smart questions because I really appreciate your training and time and high quality that you do . Thank you. Questions. 1. I did an upholstery job today and I use my portable with my mytee 240-120 and was good heat to clean . But problems with the brakes because I need electric outlet of 20 amperage and the brakers turned off 5 times big pain .magic wand has a new mytee turbo 480 -120 so this one really reach the 212 Fahrenheit degrees so steam is there. Can I connect my 240-120 and my 480 -120 together to keep the steam longer or is not a need .
@reneiturbe1711
@reneiturbe1711 3 года назад
Sorry other question. What is the difference between mytee turbo 480 -120 vs. 480- 230?
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 3 года назад
@@reneiturbe1711 the 480 needs two chords it also puts out quite a bit more heat yes they could be both hooked together

Hi tim talk about pump outs (prefferably little giant pump outs) sump pumps and demand pump. Also float switches. Advantages/disadvantages , cost , reliability, etc. Also some trouble shooting for float switch for pump out. And if possible comparison for best tile/grout cleaner (groutmaster, viper venom, magic wand?, etc) thanks man nice videos btw

Tim costs me about $7 or less a week to run my little giant. I get my propane from Costco, I only pay what they fill, currently it's .65 cents per pound. I usually use about 10lbs a week. In the past I use to exchange the tanks from Walmart once a week with a new one and that was $20-$25 until I found out Costco only charges for what they fill.
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 4 года назад
That is a great tip they have your tanks filled by Costco 😀. I have a hardware store near me that will fill mine for $12. but unfortunately most guys don't have a local place that'll do it unless they search. That is some great advice thank you so much for sharing

What is a little giant?
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 4 года назад
It's a heater. It has the ability to superheat the water past boiling
@carpetcleaning999
@carpetcleaning999 4 года назад
@@glenhedstromiscarpetcleaning it's a propane heater that's been used for those truck mounts without its own heat or guys like us with etms also use them for excessive amount of heat.

Limited knowledge here but my understanding is that heat exchangers put a lot of back pressure on your engine to help generate heat for the heat exchanger. More fuel consumption and more wear and tear on the engine, more maintenance cost down the road. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 4 года назад
You 💯/ right!!! 😉💯🔥
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 4 года назад
You're absolutely right heat exchangers are a touchy subject but they definitely do add back pressure which wears on the engine and causes the engines early demise as well as other components and added fuel consumption there's a lot more to the cost of operating a truck mount than what is actually accounted for in the price of the truck mount. please encourage others to my channel And subscribe thank you so much appreciated your input greatly

Hi Tim, First of all, thank you for your super informative videos. I saw where someone used a steambrite vacuum booster and two bucket heaters with their portable extractor and seemed to have great results. Do you think that configuration would work well (and safely) with the vortex light? Also are you sponsored at all by Magic Wand? I'm strongly considering getting the vortex light based on yours and other great reviews I've seen.
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 4 года назад
Yes bucket heaters would definitely boost your results reviews them in the Vortex light it definitely helps out when running all electric. no I'm not sponsored by magic wand however I do make products that they sell and I support their business due to the fact they have the best customer support

@TheTingleZoneASMR 4 года назад
@@carpetcleaningprofessor Thank you- this is quite helpful, and I appreciate your transparency. I have heard great things about their customer support. Would a vacuum booster be a good idea with the vortex lite as well? I'm not sure what products you sell, but if you have some demo videos I would love to check them out so I can support!

Yeah the hydro cavitator is mine I've also help them with several other products. And will be releasing other products that are part of the professors lineup as far as the vacuum booster yes the mighty vacuum booster is a great idea if you plan on going past 200 feet ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cU8Q7IYmvR4.html

How bad are emerging electric heat system maybe like a hot water heater save 50 gallons they're super insulated they'll get upwhen you're starting off with hot water and then add your electric heat if you research all your lines you should get 175 to 180 and have 50 gallon of reservoir of but if you run electric unit and critique your flow you should be able to the two houses with 50 gallons
@carpetcleaningprofessor
@carpetcleaningprofessor 4 года назад
I've seen it in the past but I don't have any experience with it I'm sure it would work quite good. Great suggestion for someone to try 😉. Thermal Mass equals more heat and faster recovery
@dewaynemarcionette6112
@dewaynemarcionette6112 4 года назад
@@carpetcleaningprofessor Tim it seems like it'd be the safest way to go and the cheapest it would help that electric heater say 50 ft from the end of your wand plugged in the the home or commercial job and it'd be nice to have all electric with no carbon footprint
