These devices have always fascinated me, it makes sense, car does not have Apple Carplay/Android Auto, this solves that, but then you look at the price and realize it's cheaper to get an entire radio that comes included with Wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto. Been wanted to do this to my 2013 Kia Forte, but most aftermarket radios look ugly in the center, the stock ones look the best.

I have a 2006 Saab 93, basically impossible to change the headunit due to a wild fiber optic cable system that fucks with the whole car so I've been looking through these things for that use case but yeah I agree most of time a headunit it just better

One of my goals this year is to do some upgrades to my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder as most vehicles of that generation didnt came with factory installed backup camera, bluetooth stereo, & gps navigation. Not sure if to have an all in one or separate devices installed. That screen looks kinda big, but then again Ford is factory installing tablets on their newer F150s. The California summer heat is another thing that debates me on these all in ones.

Great video and it helped me a lot. However, I have one question that is open. Is it possible to pair two phones at the same time? For example, an iPhone, and an android device, using android auto and Apple CarPlay at the same time is not possible, but is it possible to pair two devices, and how to switch them in the system ? For this particular model, it does not transmit audio via BT to the car radio.

question. do you still need to connect the audio output of the device to the stock radio(aux) for it to be connected to car's speaker or is it already connected just with the use of the cigarette port?

If you want to the sound to come through the factory speaker, you can either use the FM transmitter or the 3.5mm audio jack and connect it to your car's Aux audio in (if it's equipped).

This isn't a bad alternative for Apple Car Okay but the audio quality is terrible, unfortunately. Looking into Unavi or other modules to keep the factory look.

Can you connect to radio by BT a simultanely to the Smartfone by BT too?

This device only transmits audio to factory radio via FM signal. The smartphone connect to the device using BT.

First of all Sorry to all the viewers it's just a question I just don't get it, why we need this display. We have to mirror link everything from our phone in order this Display to work, why not just buy a tab or maybe if have bigger budget can go to iPad. With tab or ipad you can have everything without mirroring. We can just simply bluetooth the sound to the car audio when we watch netflix, also we are not going to get disturbed when there's a call while watching or listening spotify. Enlighten me, Thank you.

So you can have navigation in your car if your car didn't come with one or it's outdated. If that's something you don't need, then you don't need this device.

Bro, sorry, but out there on the market there are many options for Android screens AND many of them are designed to be put into cars to make them look like they came with the car from the factory. This add-on generic android screen is really not that good when it sticks out like an actual aftermarket product.

Not everyone is mechanically inclined. Installing an in dash unit sucks. Then you are stuck with whatever you installed. With this unit you can move it from car to car easy peasy!

Are the cops going to allow this? I say this is because this is not factory and it’s obstructing the front view somewhat. I too have a pathfinder and I think it will stick out like a sore thumb on the dash for cops and thieves. People nowadays steal anything they can see.
