August 24th 2022, What an incredible achievement! My father and I had climbed many mountains in west cork with our bikes before, including Sugarloaf and Hungry Hill, and these journeys would always be our ‘big adventure of the year’. Every time we completed a mountain, we always told ourselves “One day we’ll do Carrauntoohil”. That day finally came. And to think that we are some of the only bikes that have ever been to the peak of Ireland’s highest mountain is truly amazing to think about.
