Carretera Austral: Riding the South American icon

The Carretera Austral is one of the world great adventure routes. Riding you motorcycle through the heart of Chilean Patagonia. This road runs for 1247km or 775mi from Puerto Montt to Villa O'Higgins, Chile. It is a world class motorcycle and adventure travel destination, that is worth its reputation.
Follow me, as I rode this epic route in Chile on my adventure motorcycle, and show you all there is to see, and what it is like to ride one of the world's best routes.
I'm riding my Honda CRF250L Rally on a tour of South America on my way south the ride to the end of the world.
About Me:
I am a motovlogger out of Portland, OR who does scenic rides and vlogs about the ride and the places I visit. I do motorcycle trips, adventure riding and moto camping along with day rides to scenic and memorable destinations on some of the best motorcycle roads in the country. I'm currently doing a multi-year long ride from the US to the southern tip of South America and beyond, on a Honda CRF250 Rally.

Two years ago I rode Rita 7 and Rita 40 ending up in Ushuaia. Started in Villarrica Chile. Best moto adventure I have ever done!

You were with Terry in Guat. I heard a story about climbing a fence to get home from a vegan restaurant. When you get closer and work on your timing. Try to go earlier in the season like we did. People who went later complained of traffic. We saw almost no other traffic.
