Even with the weather not being all that warm I decided to give Carrickalinga Beach a go for some Yellow Fin Whiting. Unfortunately none were around but I did have some fun catching and releasing some other species. This film was taken early in November.

Can you catch snapper/kings off the rocks at second valley?

Anything is possible when you go fishing. There is a ban on Snapper currently but before the ban came into effect I did have a customer tell me he caught a snapper off Myponga rocks one morning and there have been plenty caught off the metro jetties over the years. Yet again I’ve had customers catch Kingfish from Port Noarlunga jetty so there’s always a chance, I personally would start fishing for them from Wirrina Break wall down to Cape Jervis.
