She wasn’t as cozy, cuddly with big. Just such a different relationship. I loved Carrie and mr big too so I’m not necessarily biased for either one, but each definitely brought out different traits in Carrie
She really did make a terrible mistake in choosing a toxic situation over her soulmate, Aiden. They were magic together. The folks that think Big was right for her have never been in a toxic relationship. You should never have to work your ass off to be loved. Love is smooth and easy and, while it can also be hard and sleezy (with a safe word), those first two things are needed first. Aiden was always there for her and he gave his love freely without conditions. He protected her and even helped her friends when they needed it, like Miranda trapped in her bathroom injured. Aiden is the kind of guy every girl deserves. -- Also If they don't end up together somehow in AJLT this reboot will have been utterly pointless. Bad enough they screwed up Miranda and Steve. And at least also give Steve a nice girlfriend who doesn't treat him like she's too good for him.
