Seriously? Not only are people not supporting their local stores anymore by getting Chinese crap from a billion dollar cut-throat-business, but now even the delivery part of the process doesn't provide honest jobs anymore? 😲Well, I guess drones don't form a union or bother you with labor laws. ^^

It's still mostly done by people. Drones aren't reliable enough yet. Maybe in the future, but we're not there yet. If he started his job in the 90's, he'd be good to go for at least 30 years in that job before coming close to having to worry about drone deliveries. And by then, he's closing in on retirement anyway. Yes, I overthought it. It's just a comedy show, it's not that serious, blah blah blah, lol.

@@__1201 That seems like a reasonable timeline, yea. It's already well on the way to that. I can see it being perfected in 15 or so years. There's a lot of kinks that need to be worked out, but they'll get there in our lifetime, most likely.

They're building robots that can load and unload trucks, and cars can drive themselves. Both already work, it just hasn't been implemented yet
