Isnt that because back in the early episodes SJP wasnt a producer. Back then Sams scripts were brilliant too until SJP became a producer and made Sams scripts cringy so Carrie would have the limelight and popularity
Unfortunately there are countless women like this: Desperate to be with someone tolerant to anything only so that they are not single. That's why these kind of men exist....
They had actually been together for almost a year at this point...I don't think saying, 'youre the one' was necessary but meeting the parents or saying, 'I love you' within a year is quite normal...
Many women have been in Carrie's shoes and countless others keep being miserable and desperate for love crumps of any kind of man only so that they are not single.
even if i really like a guy or if I’m in love with a guy, I would NEVER do this. It comes of as so needy and insecure and I don’t blame big for being turned off. I’ve had guys act so desperate too and I automatically feel turned off. (Referring to the first clip)
Meeting Big's ex wife behind Big's back? Is that normal? What was Carrie thinking? What was she getting out of meeting with her? To see what she's got that Big's ex doesn't have? To see what taste Big had in the marrying department? To find out if she is just a h***** to him? I mean regardless of a breakup, every breakup is private, personal, between two people, what went wrong etc, who messed up, Carrie's words from the Heidi Klum & Nina Katz episode. Honestly, there are moments when Carrie exhibits signs of mental illness. Where is the privacy and respect she spoke about herself? Does alcohol and cigarettes impair judgment or is it just a rigid, uneasy frame of mind we're talking about?
I think you were right when you suggested, 'to see what taste Big had in the marrying department'. Its actually so funny- I'm just now realizing Natasha was a younger version of his first wife. I think that's why Natasha got under Carrie's skin so much. Because Big obviously had a type and she was nothing like it. It really really bothered her.
Geez Louise it's curiosity and insecurity. I mean maybe you've not seen this but in reality we all are or have a friend that can investigate a guy better than the FBI , or that girl that would do the drive by the exes house ....I could go on for hours with examples but the facts are we all have that weird behavior that others might not have and what made this show awesome was it made women feel normal... there's a Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha in all of us.
Wow - brilliant. Absolutely loving your edits. BTW - I am Dick Whyte from Vimeo - I ended up coming over here cause the videos loaded a bit faster. Anyway - this series of films is brilliant. Can't wait to see more of your work.
He loved her in his own selfish way, in a way that he would seriously commit with any other woman but not with her proving to her countless times that she would never get what she needed from him.
Funny - she does exactly, what every „Man Whisperer Guru“ tells you not to do in the exact first 15 seconds. When I was 14, I thought: „Tell her, tell her dude!!“ But now, that I see it again, I get it… 👁👄👁
I always thought (whatever her real name) is Miranda hobbs in real life was gay, and it turns out she is. I said I knew. I knew it. I knew it all along.
Incredible work! I can't trace the cut marks. Just like to mention the one problem with this (which is completely not directed at you); Even when you do mash it up as amazingly as you did, accept for "Sydney", all these characters are set up to satisfy the male gaze (I speak as a fem woman). Incredible and thank you, I swear I almost wept! :))
@ElisaKreisinger ... like you said, that's why these women were cast in the first place, so there'll be appeal for straight men at that hint of possible action. If these women were women of color, fat, butch...etc. it wouldn't have even passed the pitching stage.

Has this become the new trendy thing to comment on these videos? Her character is a self discovering woman in her 30s. She's a loyal friend, professional writer, and well mannered.
Same. I just to find her relatable because I had my own "Mr. Big", but looking back she is just obnoxious, a bad friend, and makes everything about herself.
