This was Carrie in training, as she developed her wit and 'wise and funny observations' conversational repartee for future interviews. Such a treat. RIP America's Princess.
Carrie Fisher was so beautiful. I always love watching her interviews from the years she was in the original trilogy. She was my first crush. And seeing her in the gold bikini in Jedi was quite a thrill! I also remember her guest role on Laverne and Shirley as a Playboy Bunny! And the great film Under the Rainbow where she loses her dress! Wonderful memories.
@@johnsonapioras8697 Very good point. Her voice was part of her appeal. Sadly, she abused her body with drugs, alcohol and smoking. It showed greatly when she got to her 40's and 50's. I wish she had done more movies in her prime. I pretty much collected everything she has done from that period.
@@chrisgreulich yes, just finished watching The Burbs, and that short hairstyle is what makes her look older imo. I prefer her Frankenstein or ROTJ style, but anyway shes great.
@@johnsonapioras8697 Yeah, I actually liked the way she looked in the Burbs. That was probably the last movie I saw her in where I found her look appealing.
Before Natalie Portman played Jane Foster and she played Padme Amidala Princess Leia's mother as well Carrie Fisher could have just played Jane Foster in back in 1993 she would have been a great Jane Foster actress just like Natalie Portman is already when Sam Raimi got his ideas were pitch but they didn't pick it up before the Thor film we got and Carrie Fisher already played Princess Leia.
It was on google search, found it posted to facebook now is shared. But it misses the intro to Carrie showing audiences linining up around the block for premiere of RETURN OF THE JEDI.
@@johnsonapioras8697 How many lines do you think she did before this interview? She seems coherent, but at the same time completely out of it. That's tolerance of for you i guess..
Nurse/EMT here. Cocaine gives you energy. She is speaking and moving slowly here. She’s high, but it looks like she took a sedative to me, probably an opioid (which were her favorite drugs), benzodiazepine. Maybe a barbiturate, but my money is it was a narcotic painkiller.
