Larry Romano was involved in a new TV show. So Richie got phased out and replaced by Danny (really no explanation. Sitcoms have no continuity or reason at times, IMHO). Larry's show was short-lived. The last time we saw Richie was the episode where the gang had the paintball party for Deacon's birthday.

He went and took another acting job. I read that he felt the other acting gig had more promise. After he left, "The King Of Queens" really took off. I'll bet he really kicked himself afterwards for his poor decision.😂

Instead, Richie knocked boots with Carrie's friend, Lynn, who was originally Doug's date. We knew that Doug and Lynn weren't going to work when she kept calling him Dan.😂

Wrong actress. The actress who played Magnum's wife, Michelle, in the original series was Marta DuBois. Fun Fact: Marta DuBois appeared in the KOA Season 2: Episode 13, "Party Favor," as Danny's fiancée, Eva, when Carrie volunteered Doug to be Danny's Best Man.
