Bouncer and a few others had tried to cover his lying ass as not being there; too bad I had already seen him. I left after screwing up Gus night. BTW this was a biker bar that I did go back too.
The guys that wrote this song had Gretchen Wilson in mind to record it and was really pissed off when they found out the newest American Idol winner was going to record it, and tried to get their song released back to them, but failed. They changed their minds about Carrie Underwood after she made them rich.

hey, really enjoy your show on reactions. a good one is Dirty Laundry by Carrie Underwood, there are several versions on U tube. I would suggest Dirty Laundry CMA 2016, I believe this is the best one.

Imagine a video and song about a male stalking his girlfriend with a baseball bat. I doubt too many would find that image empowering. Imagery or not, the male artist would probably never work again.

My H asked if he could help him (he’s a mechanic), he just shook his head and walked away. The next day my H got a call to come down to the police station to ID a guy. He had been cutting his ex-girlfriend’s tires🤦🏻♀️....he went to jail...
I just flat out TOOK the truck. While he was cooling his heels in jail I changed the locks on the trailer, took his name off the trailer and truck and cleared out the bank. When he had the cojones to call me to pick him up after he got out I told him he no longer lived there, but I have a bag of clothes I could take to him. The stupid idiot lived out of Salvation Army for a few months before he was arrested AGAIN for the same thing. His counselor called me a year before he was scheduled to be released from prison to ask if I would let him stay with me. Grrrrrrr. I sweetly told her to put him in the middle of the Everglades for all I cared. If he worried about his health at all, he needed to stay out of my city as SEVERAL of his old friends would get rid of him and maybe tell me later. I wasn't the only one his actions ticked off. Last I know he was in the Carolinas somewhere. BTW, this all started in 2005
Part of the appeal of a singer is that they can make you believe that's them in the song. I don't believe Carrie Underwood could or would behave like that. Reba McEntire? Yup. Trisha Yearwood? Maybe. Miranda Lambert? Oh hell yeah. But, Carrie Underwood? Nope. Not believable.

You cant get in trouble if your name is on it. Before this song came out I caught my ex in bed with a 16 year old girl. My name was on his little double wide and his Monte Carlo so I took a bat to everything. I got a high 5 from the officer who said he couldn't do anything cause it's my property.
