Funny af, if we say someone else was carried by a character - Salty When we admitt it - fair and honest. Is actually funny and interesting cos I used to struggle against people who would just happen to know my main, so when the character trickery was gone, it was so crazy seeing how much easier the matchup became when we were just going skill-for-skill
Yeah that's the thing against "matchup check" character. Kazuya in specific is fairly simple, it's just all about mind games and 50-50s. We all get salty at one point or another anyways
Some characters really care quite cheap, TK7 players love flowcharts also. I just try to catch out everyone when defending and make sure they struggle to defend. After that, the game is just about seeing who can land the first string, find a safe opening byt waiting out a long range attack to make them let us in or just doing it ourselves so they let us approach first. I noticed even nooby players without much movelist knowledge can just flow their way through rounds by landing just a few counter hits at certain points but usually their playstyle breaks when you void any part of it@@takarin64
tekken 8 looks great but i can't afford it yet, i discoverd your channel by one of your's tekken boss beating videos and i'm impressed how you are that good without much effort, when i'm playing online games i barely do some half of combo and my controller is all sweaty any tips for a beginner? i only played tekken 7 ai for a while and tekken 5 years ago
Kazuya helps a lot with that cause of his 50-50 nature, so if you're good at mixing up you're good. As for other characters, combos are important, sure and you should have a combo ready for every launcher and counter hit launcher but mostly try to play around your opponents playstyle, figure out what you can side step and can't side step, make sure punish everything punishable. It takes a lot of time but sometimes not pressing a button is more important than spamming
