This dish takes me back to the time I lived in Silvertown, Athlone. When I came home from work our neighbour Sis Ghawa always used to call me to come fetch my plate of Kifait kos . It was 😋 but she always told me she add stick cinnamon and ginger also. Anyway thanks I will try your method it looks equally delicious 😋. Apologies to the Muslim people if I spelled Kifait wrong 🙏

Why do u have to wait for the meat to be done before throwing in the veg and potatoes. I am so lazy the veg 15 minutes after cooking meat. Lol. I would really like to know the reason. And also why medium heat.
