Nice one,Brighton was my holiday destination 50 years ago,i was 10,good memories,Devils Dyke not too far away,.Went back several years ago and although it's changed,still had good recognisable points of reference.Thank you for upload.Love the carry ons.
I remember going on the pier when it looked like this. The Ghost Train, the bar and the shooting range. Yes, it aeems strange but you used to go down the stairs to the shooting range.

I would visit Brighton just to see this Location and to see where Miss Dukes Knickers were hung! ''Well I want you to take my knickers down'' That line never fails to make me laugh.
Its great to see the locations of the iconic carry on films, ...its a shame the changes that have happened over the years, I'm old fashioned , and the romantic in me would have loved the filming locations to remain the same,....loved the carry ons, and still do ,...but the changing face of Britain makes me a little sad , as the times of these movies were golden times, and I have great memories that remain with me ....forever
I was in Brighton for the first time ever last Saturday. Always heard so much about it but never got around to actually going there. I was taken back by how massive the size of Brighton is. It would take literally a day, maybe two to really explore all of it. I was thinking mainly about the movie Quadrophenia and the 60s Mods and Rocker battles that Quadrophenia was based on, although I can remember that Carry On movie when they were there too. It's a definite must visit again for me because there was loads I didn't get around to. After stuffing myself with fish and chips I was too full up to walk any further, BIG mistake 🤣. Next time I'll eat afterwards. Cheers.

That's some amazing work you've done there 👏👏👏👏👏 I've been to Brighton many times but I never considered checking out the film locations. The most I've done is stand on the pier and try to spot where Delboy stood! Last time there I went after the Max Miller statue. Oh to find Margaret Nolan naked on the beach....... In convenience you see them on the pier going downstairs to the shooting gallery. There is no downstairs on a pier, ive been there recently and cannot see anything under the pier.
