If you never sent the Mps to vote Yes, then whom and who were they representing coz Kenyans were not for the finance bill. If the Mps have no concern with normal mwananchi I wonder who they are representing in parliament.

@@sheriakwaraiaThere were very sound reasons why in drafting the 2010 constitution, it was decided to keep the President, his Deputy and CSs out of constituency and regional politics. It was considered that under the old constitution, they would favour their constituencies above the other constituencies while allocating resources. The question remains open whether they gave developed a more national view or not, with Rigathi constantly behaving as if he is the DP of Mt. Kenya.

He/she suggested that they should be ekect d MPs (as it used to be under the old constitution). Remember that Jomo Kenyatta, Oginga Odinga, Murumbi, Moi, Kibaki, Karanja, Saitoti were all MPs while they occupied the seat of President/Vice President

I can not fault the DP on what he said. I have seen Alice Ng’ang’a and Kururia displaying opulence openly and talking s**t. I need to see him leading from the front too. Stop allocation of public money to his wife,mudavadi’s and Ruto’s wives. That big money allocated to refurbish his and the presidency’s and mudavadi’s offices. Then take the 1 man 1 shilling 1 vote to parliament. Time for talking is over. Action is what we want to see
I think Kenya seriously needs to amend the constitution. The president must pick his deputy after elections and must be allowed to fire him if he can't work with the president. This discord that we are witnessing in government is costing Kenyans
