I remember seeing this live. What a legendary stream, it’s one I won’t forget. 2019 was a rough year for me, but moments like these gave me hope. Techno, you’re a legend. There will NEVER be another Technoblade. His wit and his humor were once in a lifetime. He burned so bright. I write this with tears in my eyes. I don’t know where else to express this. I figured the video that started it all for me is appropriate. It hurts, from this to the potato wars to the random bed Wars videos. I watched them all. He was a constant in the background while I played Minecraft or any other game. I rewatched his videos because they were always so funny. He was comforting and a companion on lonely gaming nights. I will miss him. This one really really hurts. Fuck cancer. Gods damnit all.

Technoblade's early passing was definitely unfortunate, I imagine especially for his family. It sucks that we can't see him live anymore. That he can't collab with people he hasn't with yet. That many of us won't have had the chance to meet him in person. It's devastating. Looking back 6 months later though, his content's still as good as it was, and the influence that it had on my developing humor as a teen still existed. Beethoven's music is still available to listen to, MLK's speeches are still inspiring, and Alan Turing's work was still heavily influential in computing at the time - without all that, we wouldn't be where we are today. I wasn't there for a bunch of the dream smp streams, and I've not gotten round to catching up on Techno's vods, but I'll always remember the moments when we *were* here. The channel-defining stuff that secured him as a good creator. In the description of the elbow reveal video, Technodad was right; the other video is a downer. This channel was not about the fact that Alex *was* alive and is now dead, nor was it about cancer sucking; it was always for the the people. Techno set out to entertain the masses, and entertain he did. Legendary people may pass on, but the legends they leave behind will linger.

i miss the golden days of mcyt. when dreamsmp wasnt rotted yet and minecraft monday and smplive and goop/lunch club existed and technoblade was the best player in the game. i miss techno. i watched him for years, even while minecraft was in its pre-mcyt decline. i wish things had been different.
schlatt introduced me to technoblade and i cannot thank him enough for introducing me this absolute legend, this was my favorite stream of all time and after the stream i immediately subscribed to technoblade and watched all of his videos, i still cant believe everything about this is real, rest easy techno, you will never die in everyone’s hearts

He can just do intense drag makeup with James’s palette so the face reveal doesn’t really reveal his face. Just an idea because there are many valid reasons that he (and many others) won’t do face reveals [ex. Popular enough to attract the crazies, not popular enough for the rest of the world to jump in and protect]

I am pretty sure they are actually allowed to play again since they didnt dominate the tournament, but Techno said he really enjoy switching partners every week. Hopefully we'll see them teaming up again in the furture.

I remember watching this MCM live, alongside every single other event. This event stood out a lot thought because at the time it was two of my favorite content creators pairing up, and at first I felt things might have been awkward between them, but the stream ended up being amazing. I’m still so sad that he’s gone, we’ve lost one of the most entertaining and witty people on the internet… RIP Technoblade

This was the video I learned who technoblade was. Techno was a funny and endearing guy and I started really liking his content n humor from here on. Rest in piece techno.
Watching Techno just zoom through the walls to go grief was the funniest shit combined with what he said. Still makes me cry from laughter a year later.
I never really messed with technoblade too much but his death hit me hard. Only saw a few clips here and there. But from what I saw he was a really funny and genuine person. His impact while he was here on earth is clearly demonstrated throughout the Minecraft community and it will continue to last for years to come. Rest in peace, big guy.
Honestly I think his death effected everyone no matter if they watched him or not. There is something inherently wrong and tragic about a 23 year old dying to cancer, and his father having to tell his fans and friends personally. He was my favorite youtuber and I cried for days afterwards. I really never thought I could feel so attached to a youtuber and effected by that, but then again, I never predicted he would die.

The funny thing is that Technoblade didn't entirely carry Schlatt actually put in a significant amount of work and techno probably wouldn't have won without him helping in pvp and getting as many points as he did.
edwardsjs21 yeah he didn’t carry as bad as other games but he still did get double the points which still constitutes as it. Schlatt and Techno were a great pairing nonetheless and schlatt was leagues better than some of techno’s previous teammates
