it's pretty funny that Chick Hicks boasting his status like he knows that he can never race after what he did but found a way to still use his status to be cocky and show off. It would've been nice to have a few more moments on learning more about Jackson Storm like yes he's a decent antagonist but he mainly just serves as just a deep dark reflection of what Mcqueen could've been if he never went to Radiator Springs

I remember watching the teaser for this, and feeling very depressed afterwards. But seeing how in the movie he’s alright, I did wonder what the rest of the movie could be like. And too be honest, I didn’t hate it. IMO It’s an averagely okay movie.

As you can see, Chick is still riding the bus of this ONLY piston cup. Also, most of Doc's new dialogues are discarded voice recordings from Paul Newman.

There's also a short series called "Cars on the road" which is like 9 epsidoes long but all of them combined is like an hour total. Definitely give that one a watch

This movie hits even harder since I turn 30 next year like time has flown by so fast I remember thinking 30 was finally a true grown up back when I was like 18 and now I’m almost there seeing all these kids today how much the world has changed just I relate 😅 but I don’t worry too much I still got a lot time left and I still got the heart and spirit of a kid remember everyone “growing old is mandatory growing up is optional”

I remember first watching the teaser of the movie and then going to see the full movie in theaters with my mom. Lightning McQueen’s crash still scares me. 😨😱 After all the crashes I’ve seen out of him, I’ve never seen him take a crash like that before. That was crazy. I even heard a kid screamed when everyone saw it happen. One of the most shocking moments In a Disney Pixar movie the world will never forget.

Love the idea of legacy and the history of racing shown here. The first racers were Rumrunners back in the day like they said "We ran moonshine dummy!", and the old racer characters were actually based on actual people (Junior Moon actually being VOICED by his IRL inspiration: Junior Johnson, and named after his moonshine business) that, the tracks, everything. Theres an extra that shows their research and I just love it

I remember that after I watched this movie in cinema, I wanted to upgrade my old Volkswagen Touareg to new generation car, like Jackson Storm, but without eyes of course. I imagined that I’m going to my country house in my new upgraded car and I’m opening window, and wearing cool glasses, saying to sexy girl: “Yo, sweet baby. Wanna ride?”

9:28 I remember being in 6th grade and my best friend showing me the teaser trailer for this movie. They used this scene and that was it. It made me so hyped and excited to see the movie, because at that moment, I needed to know what happened next. It was so sad seeing McQueen crash like that, but ofc I needed to see the movie lmao.

All of those guys who congratulated her were actual nascar drivers and still are. Tho all of them are running different numbers now. Chase Elliott from 24 to 9 now Suarez from 19 to 99 Blaney from 21 to 12 Wallace Jr from 6 to 23 And there's a bunch of other nascar cameos throughout
