Mate, I had the time of my life spending the first 6 months full time at home with our son and daughter. Most precious time ever. Even our dog became extremely attached to them and very protective. BorderCollie instinct
Exactly the same, even have a border collie too. COVID doesn't have much a silver lining, but it did give me lots of time I wouldn't have had at home with my daughter.
Here in NC nothing changed except for masks. The roads seem more congested than ever lol. I heard in europe and australia it was like some Nazi shit though. (North Carolina)
If I ever said it all changes from here I only ever meant it in the best way. Think every who has been through it already gets it, your whole mindset changes and attitude to a degree. It's kind of like seeing life through new eyes. All the best brother actually so stoked for you right now.
Definitely can agree, I always had the same viewpoint as Sam that life won't change much. Parenthood changes your mentality completely, when you truly care for and love your kids.
When my 1st child born, my business was in the worst state..Then came all the lockdown & everything…My daughter is the reason i kept pushing forward & we did it! last year we got another child, a boy, my legacy..keep it up sam!
we have the same amount of pollen here in norway i think.. not yet tho. when the trees start to bloom. you see the waters get yellow and green all over. cars and everything gets covered.
Please keep making more content like this cause it's really cool to watch... Are there any other auctions aside from this one that you could visit and show us?
The “yellow pollen” is actually “yellow dust” or “Asian dust”, which comes from the increased desertification of Asia. It is technically fine particles of sand.
Kids can be tough at times, i even had to quit while my missus went back to work. She struggled while i can handle it easier so im the stay at home dad. Anyone who says parenting is easy really has no clue. It's still worth every minute and rewarding, just not easy for whoever is staying at home with the little one. Enjoy the time goes fast
fluid film or wax isn't for hiding rust, its for preventing rust. can it be used to hide it yes, is that what happened on the evo, maybe, or maybe they're trying to preserve and protect it, and prevent it from getting any worse, which i think is more likely
Some great Rn'D on new vehicle perspectives and pricing. Doing your research will definitely pay off! Supised people were saying such negative things about being a dad. From what I've seen, it is extremely motivating having a child and will make you work that much harder!
live smack dab in the middle of europe ... we get pollen dust every spring ... although we get it at april cuz its somewhat cold in this part of my country
These are some of my favorite videos you make... I love when you walk around the lot showing all the amazing cars that are just sitting there waiting to be purchased... There are so many cars that I could only dream of owning.... However, the money adds up really quickly when you consider that you have to win the auction for the car, then you have to pay import and shipping fees... I would probably be better off using that money to move to Japan and then work til I've earned enough money to get the car I wanted... Who knows, I might even meet a nice woman to marry... LOL!
I feel you, i love JDM cars. But i live in the netherlands, and it's not really that big of a thing here so these cars are rare and expensive. Everyone drives mercedes AMG or Audi's etc. All the european stuff mostly
@@SweatyyPancakes .... Well I guess I can understand why they would be expensive if they are as rare as you say... I'd rather have a older model JDM Car before any other cars... I'm not even gonna completely overhaul the car either... I'm a bit of a Purist. I'd do a full restoration and find the best engine option for the model to swap in... Then I would upgrade the engine as much as possible without affecting the stock aspects of the car... I would basically have a Sleeper that's as modified as possible... But I would make sure that pretty much everything on it were things that had been offered for the car... Well, aside from the suspension and braking systems....
@@SeanNyte they are rare enough that most of the jdm cars you see in video's like GTR's, s14/15's, 240sx etc. Cars like that i've maybe seen 1 or none of these cars in my whole life
@SAMMIT- the only thing that changes when becoming a father is you now can share your passion with another person. No such negatively exists. I had my 1st rb25 swapped s13 nearly 10 years ago and did multiple builds with both my kids either hanging out in the car, or sleeping in their chair next to me. Sure track days did change a bit, but the help from my awesome wife made it absolutely doable. My kids are 14 & 10 for context, so I have a little bit of experience with it lol
Bro you and May will smash it as parents to little man. Enjoy every minute you get spend with him. Loving the content at the moment. Any chance of some more auction vlogs with pricing tho. I only ask as im eyeing up purchasing a car from over there and would like an idea of what an average 34 GTR is going for.
Fellow kiwi here, probably the roughest/cheapest R34 GTR over there at auction you wont have much change from 150k anything decent is 180-200k+ an pristine would be nearer 230k-250k + he has had pricing on some of his older videos for the R34 GTRS.
I come from the Rust belt in US I wouldn't even call any of that bad. I worked on cars there for 10 years and when I moved out of the Rust belt I realized the majority of my shop tools where for removing/fixing and dealing with rust.
I wish this video was around before I traded in my car for a pickup. Worst decision ever. 2 months into owning it I look underneath and it looked nothing like it did when I bought it.
That evo 9 wagon looks rough. I purchased one, same color, back in November 21 that had an R classification but the undercarriage was mint. Came through CAA Chubu so it probably never saw salty costal conditions.
I’m a father of 5 so I know the feeling. If you miss a video or two it’s all good. Yugo and May are more important. As long as they good that’s all that matters.
That autech R33 GTR 4door 🤤.. And I don't even like R33's lol Rusty Evo9 wagon, my brochure has emailed that disappointment to me many times The blue one is an evo2. I saw it on the web weeks ago, pretty rough
Please tell Okachan to restock the sweat shirts especially in size XL. Been trying to get a few forever now it feels like and every time I go on and look, there always sold out. Anyway loving the content as always and congrats again buddy! Enjoy this time right now, these are some of the best times with kids. It doesn’t last long, so enjoy it while it last. Have a good one mate! ✌🏽
Being a dad, negative? Whoever said that is either a very selfish, a bad dad, or just doesn't understand the joys of fatherhood. For me it's the best thing that ever happened to me. Was thr first thing I actually cared about, gave me a reason to not only live, be a positive influence, but I also turned out to be a really great father and my son is going to engineering university a year early, with scholarship. I had a very rough life and turned lemons into lemonade. Now my son has had a great life, I have a good life, good career, he will never learn thr hard way, I did that for him. We stopped at 1 as we wanted to make sure our child had everything, could go to college, now I wish we would of had another. Maybe we will adopt or take in a foster child in near future. Fatherhood is the best. I'll never understand deadbeat dads in my life.
Ugh another st205 gen6 celica gt4😪😭 and an Evo wagon🥵. One day I'll have one. Wish parts access was better for replacement parts. Luv when you show what's available
I just picked up a evo wagon last year luckily it is a extremely clean 4b with 99xxxkm . after comparing between the one you found holy crap im glad I took my time!
Where would you recommend importing a car from in the USA? Goonet Maybe? Planning on getting a Subaru gc8 from a U.S. seller and then one day getting a Gtr r32 from Japan and selling the gc8.
You should buy that Mark II or yellow hatch, the mark II would be a cool dad car. The hatch you could save for your child before they get ridiculously expensive.
I love how much Sam gets at the amount of rust on some of the cars. Sam better not drive in the fall/winter in Michigan cause the rust mobiles driving around would make Sam go into Shock
I am absolutely on the opposite side of negativity.....I was always told the same, your life will change completely when you have kids and didn't believe either. Yes there are more responsibilities, more to worry about, and just learning how but.....life instantly becomes MORE more precious, more valuable, more important, and absolutely more enjoyable. I was always the guy who could give or take having kids, I always wanted the fairy tale but kids weren't a must. But after I've had 2 boys now 7 and 5. It's the best thing in the whole world. Edit: didn't have my first till I was 35.
Honestly sammit it only changes for the better being a farther, instead of having friends round to work on cars which in the uk ends up in a drinking session, you can teach your kids while working on whatever (rally car in my case) & actually get stuff done on them
I was in Japan a few years ago in mid October and it what quite surprising how hot it was. You'd think the subway system would be cooler than the street but it was like an oven down in there!
You forgot to mention that those sun beaten cars get even more sun-beaten just sitting out there in the auctions so they basically get at worse at it can get
Dad of Three here. Never and I mean Never, has having kids prevented me and my wife from doing what we want or need to do. My family feels like a Juice Jug filled with a never ending supply of love. That love Drives me to go even harder, day to day. Congrats and don't listen to the negativity. Its obviously coming from Boys, Not men. Often times men who cant even get their own lives together, let alone relate to fatherhood. Keep it up bro!
I tell American drivers that if they always dreamed of owning a Nissan 300ZXTT, they should look into auctions in Japan for a Z32 Fairlady TT. The 300ZXTT ended in 1996. Shortly after, the Nissan Fairlady TT had a few minor upgrades and styling changes. I know it got HID headlights. I don't know what else it got. Now that those are crossing the 25 year rule, enthusiasts can get the finest example of the Z32 TT there ever was.
