im with everyone else on missing the fd2 mugen rr(the red civic type r). if you dont know, they only made 300 of those and never sold them outside of japan. i know m&m honda out there have one under plastic. but not many are seen in the wild. i tend to see a lot of youtubers that do videos of these yards completely skip past the fd2's. like 4 door skylines, 4 door type r's can be cool too lol. i may be biased as im converting my fa1 to fd2 bcos i love their styling but still lol. cool to see a real mugen rr and sad not many ppl realize how special they are. thanks for the content tho sam, i enjoy these even tho i wont be in the market to import a car for awhile, its interesting to see where things are at price wise(please let ae86s drop lol)

That rusty r33 gtr is sooo worth fixing with a bit of time you could get that looking mint. I understand we’re your coming from coz you’d have to pay someone to fix it so it’d cost a ton but I guess for me that just looks like a cool little fixer upper like give me a few weeks and all the repair panels and I’d have that good to go depending on price I’d definitely buy it

I did some research about "Blue Blood since 1996 by j.s.r" all I found was a company named j.s.r in japan that was founded in 1957 to be japans first producer of synthetic rubber, and a old album form X Japan named Blue blood but nothing more that was likely to have anything to do with the sticker (japanese or car). But the thing the intrigue me is that the name has the GTR style R, that might mean it's some thing made for gtr's.

I had a coworker briefly that had a white I think it was Gloria Ultima (might've been a Cedric, I can't remember, they're basically the same damn thing anyway). Those things are cool. He didn't stick around for too long since that was right at the start of the 'rona. He sold that car awhile ago, looks like he's got a 2nd gen imported Legacy tt now. My friend just sold his Pulsar GTi-R swapped Nissan NX2000 the other week. He spent about 10 years on that thing getting it right, think it might be the only one like it in the US. Barely even got to enjoy it before he decided to part ways, thing was a ripper though. His friend bought it new, sold it to my friend's sister, and then he bought it later & swapped it.

Ha ha Sam's like most Aussie cars guys i know... i have 12 project cars on the go... when he said it , i wasn't even surprised..

Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!!

Why don't the auction houses show pictures of under cars? I can see the cars are parked over top of lights and camera for taking photo but very few cars ever show. It should be law to show these under car photos to buyers. I do not like the way this whole process feels so shady, I've bought a few cars over the years but the more I learn, the more I see this Japanese export as becoming corrupt and trying to rip off buyers.

Just so you know…. From a fellow Aussie who with a serious obsession for JDM vehicles…. Owner of an R33 GTR, GR Yaris, 86 and others. Ex owner of an innumerable collection of S and R chassis cars. A competent engine builder and track enthusiast…. Beware. The swifts will break you. In 2018 I was building an EM1 as a go between track and occasional work commute vehicle and met a guy in his 70s who had been racing civics for eons. The guy had a collection of race cars that make many of us blush, mostly Hondas but one that wasn’t. That car was a suzuki swift. He told me I was wasting my energy on the EM1 and recommended I get a swift instead. That his stripped out stock ZC31S was lapping only 1 second slower than his K24 EK. Long story short I took that advice and bought a mint high mile ZC32S for a good price. In 2019 I had to sell that car due to financial reasons and I actually cried as the guy drove away. I have since had 5 more, 4 being too poor a condition to keep long term (tight ass me), and the last being a ZC33S that I sold because I felt it lacked the charm of the NA 32 and was honestly too similar to the GRY. I sold it to free up funds to put into the other cars but only a few months later I find myself surfing ads for ZC32S :( Owning one of these cars and actually driving it how it was made to be driven will break you something like developing a wild porn addiction. You know you can move on to better things but the memory of blowing your load to some fine young JDM lady just keeps you scrolling for that next high. Buy one. RIP.

As always something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it but the silly American youtube bubble covid 19 market is over and it's going to drop like a tonne of bricks as you can now see. R34's and supras selling for hundreds of thousands was just silly crypto dudes with money to burn or investors looking to turn a profit, enthusiasts weren't paying those prices, most of the things people say are rare aren't actually rare it's just most of them are sitting in peoples garages collecting dust and now they are flooding the market with them, i mean seriously 30-40k for an ek9 civic ? GTFOH the people who have 40k to blow don't want an old civic and the people who do want them can't afford them now so they will sit and the market will crash then it will pick back up and crash again
