I had the chance to meet the Force family at Route 66 in the Chicago area. Brit, Court, Ashley and John couldn't have been any nicer, especially John. You know he had million things to do, but when it was your turn, he made you feel like his only job was making sure you were having a good time. A complete class act and great racer!
I always remember a picture of John standing on a darkened track somewhere with a small blond girl standing beside him. Both were wearing racing coveralls, it looked as though the little girl was telling John what she saw and what he should be doing the next day. I always wonder if that little girl was Brittany who was ready 6 or 7 to drive.
My husband bought tickets for Norwalk, Night Under Fire Winners Circle last year. We go every year. He passed away in January. I went with him on my mind (and we took his ashes). He loved drag racing, especially meeting the Force Team. He has a hundred die cast cars, autographed. Mostly Force Cars. And Wally’s and helmets. Basically a tribute to the NHRA in showcases in my dining room. He spent all off his time at the track in the Pits getting autographs. He never sold one. ❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
I think she is one of the best drivers of the era an definitely one the most gorgeous ladys in drag racing.She is so competitive an i think what her an her sisters,dad, brother an law in the nhra are the badest an winningest teams in the sport.Love this group an hope they continue their winning ways.God speed JFR an their sponsors

I like all the force girls... But one never gets credit his mother force. She literally raised all those kids. Mostly by herself . All the girls turn out well . The priorities in the right place . Personally I think she should be interviewed and given credit for all the years she is supported her family in racing . She still looks good !
Can you imagine what Lorie Force has been through in her life? Raising three girls and contending with an extreme narcissist for a husband what little he was around! No one to hold you, coddle you and say I love you when you have a bad day! When those kids got grown I would have left John and took half his assets and got a new man half his age and finish my life living for myself!!! I think that’s why John got the girls into racing, just so that wouldn’t happen!!!
Each time you climb into that car , your climbing into a monster that wants to hurt you , you have to take hold of it and say " Not today , I'm in control " !
"This sport would be alot harder if my family wasn't here" you wouldn't be driving a top fueler if you didn't have your family, don't ever forget it, JF is why it all came together.

FYI, I race LMP3 cars and own a few circuit track records here in OZ in a variety of different circuit cars, I can def handle myself behind the wheel in my chosen motorsport discipline, I am always needing more money to go further, not more talent. A lot of people in this world have the gift to drive well, what they lack is funding. You might be surprised of how many Forces, Schumachers and Senna's are in the world, what we don't have is all these talented people who just happen to have millions of $$ too, that is the winning combo for 99.9% of us. Very few ever get a look in with skill alone.

I don’t see how she came off as ungrateful for her opportunity, fact of the matter is that in modern motor sports a majority of competitors have had a much easier path to the top than guys in the old days.
I am completely thrilled by this girl. She must be very strong-minded otherwise it would be impossible to withstand all that pressure. In Europe the broadcasters are showing absolutely nothing about this fantastic sport. I found those videos per coincidence. The whole world is talking about emancipation, and here is a girl who drives her male collegues into the ground. I feel a great pity, that I can´t see her live in full action. Once I visit USA I want to catch that up.
Four years I've watched Mrs. force quietly stand the background why John goes on his rants . I think she is the driving force , after all she raised those kids . An they all turned out to be pretty good . You can just imagine what she's had a put up with .
Joe Valdrighi She had to raise them kids by herself while her selfish old man ran around living his dream. Raising 3 hormonious girls is a tough job and John didn’t have to deal with much of it. John races because it’s his love and dream, but he says he does it for his family? What a joke! Lorie needed a husband and a father to help raise the family and provide daily needs and emotional support! Kids are very needy with school, social events and sports! Narcissistic John was able to avoid all that emotional and stressful moments. Now he is pushing 70 years old and still won’t/can’t put himself second to make Lorie number one and give her the life she dreams about for sacrificing her life so he could live his dreams! And I bet he actually thinks he loves Lorie! She could have easily found a man that would make her number one! Look at Ashley and Courtney they quit racing to put their families first! I bet it pissed John off considering he never put his family first!

I personally was never on that level raising. But it cost me too much personally in my marriage .. So one day I walked away with no fame nothing but my memories . And I'm damn glad I did it .
trailerpark cryptoking Wow, Seems like John has provided Laurie and the girls a pretty damn good life, more than most fathers are capable of. I cannot think of a family that is closer than the Forces are. Also Laurie loves the sport as much as the rest of them do.

Kids/wife’s need love, compassion and emotional support throughout life, something John never ever provided! You did hear Britt state her dad dictates their work and personal lives and that at times he’s too much and she has to step back!!! You have to remove your star struck goggles and look at the situation in an unbiased manner and watch these interviews listening to everything that is said! John admits in an interview that he didn’t even know his own daughters while they were growing up! Words straight out of his mouth, can’t make this shit up!
That’s a double standard! Watched narcissist John in a video state how all his daughters were excited and constantly talking about how cute one of Brian Karade’s crew members was. So John loads all three of the girls up in the golf cart and hauled them over there and introduced them to the good looking guy, which BTW, Ashley is now married to.....Dan Hood!
I love to watch the feud between John Force Racing and Don Shumacher Racing. But, I wish it was like back in the day only one car and one driver taking on the other 15 racers.
Brittany Force is arguably the best of the 3 driving Force girls. Middle child, shortest child, and beautiful. I’m sure John sees a lot of himself in her!
She said "I alwayd get the credit cause im the driver" Is that true? I don't know much about drag racing, but seems like it all has much more to do with crew and engineers than the actual driver no? They're just trying to keep it under control no?

Brittany Force knows her old man is a major narcissist!!! She said, “he has to be the boss of everything, work related or personal life!” “Some times he’s to much and I have to step back!” Narcissism is what drove John to be a champion, because if you’re on top that makes you the boss/dictator!!!
