I see so many people racing off to play golf going at 25 mph or higher, which violates the 20 mph speed limit, and potentially sets them up as operating a LSV without proper license. Violation of the law is a common clause in insurance policies, which could mean the insurance company would deny their claims. This is particularly true for the newer golf carts that do not have speed governors.

People also get thrown out of golf carts when the cart hits a curb. Seatbelts save lives.

My opinion only, I believe the 16,17,18 age rules have to do with being a minor as opposed to the age of being an adult. If the driver is over 18 then they can be sued for any damages. Under 18 they are a minor and you can not sue a minor. If they have a driver's license then their is a remedy through the parents insurance. My opinion only
