All week I had been thinking that, I hope Carter goes up in weight. I think it was his only option. Too bad there aren't more weight classes. All in all, it's a great time to be following wrestling.

Have a feeling that his future plans are gonna depend on how he does at Trials. Doubt he’s beating DT to make the Olympics this year. If he really wants the Olympics, probably best to go one more year in NCAA’s, hopefully win his 5th title, then train for 2028 in LA. Or perhaps he chooses to go to UFC. I’m sure he’s contemplating all his options based on what’s best for him.

Liked Penn State before Carter “convinced” Cael they should start sh*t posting on the internet in the last year or so (paraphrasing, but from a Starocci interview). Used to frame them as a class program, know they’re humans and fallible like all of us, but more on board with rooting against em than ever. All walking around with that Penn State privilege. Smart moves from someone with the RTC to monopolize the talent, but know there’s hammers out there inspired to knock these guys down. Go wrestling.

No doubt he comes back to become the first 5 time champ...he is playing everyone like a fiddle...its not 60-40 like he said...its 100%...he will wrestle enough matches to qualify for NCAA s maybe a few more while giving other guys a chance to wrestle and will play the mentor role and i predict he becomes the first 5 time champ .. currently there are 2 records extremely hard to do... obviously Sanderson going undefeated 158-0....then dake 4 time champ at 4 different weights....he has the chance to make another record being the first 5 time champ and it will happen.. he already did the hard part becoming 4 time
