I'm gonna say the same thing I've said on IG. This model is a milestone piece in the history of horology. Sporty but also elegant. An absolutely superb design! Great video as always, Bob!
I own the medium version and it is spectacular! Literally my favorite watch in the collection! And this is coming from a guy who owns pieces from Rolex, Omega, JLC…even Patek!
After I finished filming this and really getting a feel for it I was so impressed. Totally loved it and I really didn't expect too. Thanks for watching!
@@atl3630 I just remember that every 5 years or so when I send it in for it’s regular service, Cartier will give it a light polish and it will come back looking like new again

@@madrockwatchesadventure4501 thanks Madrock, I know, shocking eh? Truth be told, it's not the unpackaging of the watch that gets my motor running, it's the removing of the stickers. I got that satisfaction at the Boutique when they were sizing the watch for me 😋
Sean is the man!!! Congrats to him for picking up this amazing piece! So cool of him to let you unbox it like this Bob! I'm still loving my medium version!!! My bezel now has so many hairlines scratches on it just from the shirts I wear! It's crazy how easily the Santos bezel scratches but in certain lights you can't even tell they're there!
Thanks Josh, it's a fantastic piece, and I too am so worried about scratching up the bezel. Your videos on the medium started me on my journey to get the Santos, and your video on how you obtained it, should be up for an award, as it moved me.

Thanks for sharing!! I very nearly picked this exact watch up. I struggled for two solid weeks after I committed to buying another watch between the Santos and the Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar. I had been fawning over the GO for nearly 20 years, which is ultimately why I went with the GO. I couldn't be happier and I'm wearing it while watching your Santos unboxing! The Santos is definitely on the short list and will likely be my next significant purchase.

An absolutely stunning watch for sure and nice that it comes with a handy toothbrush 😂. But that's one nice unboxing experience. Would be cool to get some chocolate as well, but then I suppose they'd have to keep it from melting. Congratulations to your friend on acquiring this beautiful watch.

Was there a sticker on the clasp? I'm about to buy a second hand Santos from a dealer, and they told me the condition of the watch is "as new, sticker still on clasp", but it looks like from your unboxing that there was never a sticker on the clasp in the first place...
