This is true but it's missing the point. The establishment created these labels through white supremacist settler colonialism. So when we recognise that black people are more likely to be mistreated by cops it is because of that history. We have to recognise that the labels exist as a social construct and that comes from our historical context. It's no use saying race doesn't exist (which scientifically it doesn't) if you are not going to recognise the fact that it exists as a social construct which has a direct material impact on people's lives and aim to change the systems which keep white supremacy in place. We are all the same, but we are not all treated the same.

If you keep bringing up each other's screw ups, and don't talk it out, remembering that you do care about each other you're gonna put a huge crack in the foundation you and your other half are trying to build on. One more thought, and I'll shut up....when a child is born they don't know hate, fear, distrust. That comes from what they experience in the environment they're raised in.
