This made me cry. I have been following the Cartier Family for the last 2 1/2 years. I am a 68 year old white woman, a wife, mother and grandmother from Wyoming! The Lord has laid the burden of our men, young in particular, on my heart. You all epitomize what strong, young men should be. We need strong men, sons, fathers, husbands, brothers in our world!!! When I first heard Tom’s music, I was actually impressed and happy that where was rap music without the degrading of women and the continued use of foul language. So I'm late to the party, but I listen to Tom EVERY DAY. I love how he speaks the truth. It's opened rap music to me, so it's really true when they say you're never too old to learn something new! Man, I only heard about Tom literally yesterday, getting his "Me vs. You" song on my recommended. Listening to this now, Tom is definitely on my list of artists to listen to. He's the first artist I've ever encountered where he's making me hang on the edge of my seat, paying attention to every word he says instead of just vibing with the music.

I can't find my reply to this comment (youtube won't show it) so I'm not sure if I even mentioned "color" in My comment. (hence the confusion) I just know that Tom MacDonald and Dax have both caused me to appreciate this musical art form, where in the past I hated it because of the 'lyrics'. I think a lot of people do not associate "older white women" with rap, so that's why it tends to get mentioned that This Artist has captured the hearts and minds of people who normally do not like Rap. He's THAT GOOD.
