Arthur, Big Bang Theory, Batman the Animated Series, Magic School Bus, Ultimate Spider-Man, TMNT 2003, and of course My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers/Power Rangers Zeo/Power Rangers Turbo/ & Power Rangers In Space as one video because they're all connected so well.
The 2006 Looney Tunes Christmas movie “Bah Humduck” which is a modernized adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” set in modern times sees Daffy Duck portray a greedy Scrooge archetype character who is the CEO of billion-dollar department store chain and company who mistreats his employees and uses the company name as an excuse to make more money until he realizes the error of his ways and learns the true meaning of Christmas at the end of the story!
The sad part of the scene where Krabs trades SpongeBob for 62 cents is that The Dutchman claimed that Krabs would sell SpongeBob’s soul for “a couple of bucks” when all it took was a couple of CENTS
its hilarious how if this episode didn't exist, then I wouldn't have considered putting Krabs as 1st place. Since this episode happened, it got really dark/creepy even for the flying dutchman. Mr. Krabs is very cruel and he deserves to be in 1st place (also in hell xD)
@@TheMail518 At the very least, Mr. Krabs ended up regretting what he did. Though that doesn't change the fact that he's made SpongeBob and Squidward both work "FOREVER" in at least THREE episodes!
Yeah. My brother said Stan from gravity falls was worse, and I said: “At least he cares about his kids instead of giving them money and say “oh just walk it off.”!!”
When Mr. Krabbs had to make budget cuts for only five cents he let go SpongeBob because it's illegal to have employees to work for free. Also he sold moldy patties to pass off as Krabby patties and refused to sell another patty until the one under the stove was sold
"The Life and Times of Scrooge Mc. Duck" is one of the best Disney comics! While greed runs in his family, he still has a heart for his family, and perhaps values honesty as much (if not more) as money. Pluss, his feats would make Indiana Jones, Lara Croft, Nathan Drake, and ALL other globe trotting treasure hunters red-faced and green-eyed!
"daffy duck was cast as scrooge in a christmas carol so if that doesnt get him this spot we dont know what will" literally scrooge mcfreaking duck earlier on this list: am i a joke to you
@@coralmaynard4876 yes i know but the character is still very specifically based on ebenezer scrooge. ofc, most recent depictions of scrooge mcduck make him kinder than his namesake, so i wouldn’t even disagree with his placement on this list, but i found the comment about daffy just rather ironic
If I recall correctly, it’s mentioned several times that at least SpongeBob (probably both, but I feel like Squidward would have negotiated otherwise) is paid in Krab Dollars which can only be used at the Kristy Krab or otherwise be paid to Mr. Krabs. So with that in mind, Mr. Krabs is the equivalent of coal miner towns where people would get paid only to be able to buy things or rent a home owned by the coal mine (this is also something Jeff Bezos is wanting to make the equivalent of for Amazon, whether that be a one off occurrence or if there are more of them planned).
It fluctuates immensely on what Mr. Krabs pays Spongebob. Sometimes it is just very little money. Sometimes it is Krabs dollars. Sometimes it is even stated that he doesn't pay Spongebob at all.
I knew Scrooge would be low. Funny thing isn't it? He's most well known for his greed and vast wealth, but he's an honorable family man too. Stan certainly earned his spot though. I cannot deny that.
Yah the thing about scrooge mc duck is he may be an incarnation of greed but honestly thats the only deadly sin he is guilty of, and even then he has that in some amount of check.
You are totally right. Mr.Krabs is definitely the most greedy cartoon character. There is one other thing showing his greed, though: Alex Bale found enough evidence within the show to prove that he accidentally killed his adopted daughters mother, and got over it, because he decided to turn her body into a very delicious burger that he feeds to all his customers. In fact, he even found out that he plans on using Pearl when her mothers body runs out. Yeah, he is definitely the most greedy cartoon character to ever exist.
Greed is a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction. Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed.
The Dose make the Poison. Even we love to avoid and paint ourselfs better then "them." Greed is something every Human posesses in one way or another. And thats okay. The thing is to learn to not let the greed took control over us.
Maybe we can do characters for the other sins Like prideful to most prideful Envyest to most envyest One lustful to most lustful (be perfect for Valentine’s Day)
Some of lust characters would be of the lewdest characters to be frank 😂 Characters to be expected: Claude Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Foxy Love from Drawn Together, Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel
I remember watching one of the newer Spongebob episodes a few years back and it was all about Mr. Krabs trying to murder Squidward because he learned he could sell paintings for a lot of money if the artist was dead. He's a fun character but yeah his spot here is DEFINITELY warranted.
Someone didn't understand gruncle Stan at all. He literally only had the mystery shack going to stay alive and fund getting his brother back. All he ever wanted to do was sail the sea with his brother, broke or not. Stan isn't greedy.
I agree with that thumbnail. Mr.Krabs is the richest person ever: he's greedy, he's selfish, and he's stingy to the point of not thinking nor putting others first.
To be fair krabs did bye a whole lot of stuff for miss puff just to win her affection, like almost all of his money, and he was born poor and his first piece of money he ever got he spent it to give a balloon to his best friend plankton.
I feel like that character from "Frosty The Snowman" should be on the list, right below DeVill, my one reason is because he thought that if his hat (That he threw out) was really magical, he could make billions, I feel like he is less greedy than DeVill only because he was technically killing a Snowman who has a life, compared to killing 101 dogs, for a sweater.
It is honestly a good move to put Stanley pines in the least greedy. Yes he can be selfish, mean, tough and greedy but he began to have feelings and more care to others especially Dipper and Mabel.
He warned and rescued him and Patrick from the hooks, scolded them for saying bad words, he gave spongebob a day off when he forgot how to make a krabby patty and then patiently stayed with him to help him get back together. He also gave spongebob time off when he had the suds, not wanting to get all his customers sick. He also showed remorse over taking his boots away, and even payed him lots of money at the end of the episode. Honestly in the early series (more like season 1 for the most part) krabs was still greedy, but he also was ethical and bad lines he wouldn’t cross. He just got more and more of a money fetish as time went on
I would've included Prince John from Disney's Robin Hood in there somewhere. I mean, taxing all of Nottingham into poverty and keeping the money for himself? He's the embodiment of greed. He probably wouldn't make top 3 considering Robin Hood stole from him regularly and his reign was temporary until King Richard's return, but Prince John is worth a mention.

Cant forget the episode where daffy guilt tripped porky into giving him everything he has including his clothes just so he can buy a yacht he didnt plan to sail in and made porky go bankrupt. He also almost drowned in his bed sheets this episode because he didnt want to lost them at sea.
Think back then, Mr. Krabs did at least had some morale boost. When Spongebob couldn’t work under pressure after “falling” to make a Krabby Patty, he told him to take the rest of the day off so he can clear his head. He also willingly went to his house to help him. If he was greedy, he probably would of forced Spongebob to work harder. But on that episode, he stayed day and night for his employee cause he knows Spongebob has talent. Though… then you remember, he also bet against Spongebob when he had to face Neptune Nowadays… yeah…. With selling his soul on contacts and also giving up on Spongebob for only 62 cents… he’s greedy and heartless. Heck, he opened his restaurant for 24 hours and didn’t stay cause “he has a life”. Yeah, well what about the people that’s working for you? XD
I'm surprised Flip from The Loud House was not on this list . Considering he once scammed all of the Loud siblings in " Come Sale Away" , charges high prices for items and even advice , and lets not forget about the lengths Flip would go to sell food even if expired for a quick buck.
He is rated in the Grey area in the Loud House good to evil list but I feel he’d definitely be in the higher echelon of greedy cartoon characters on this Greedy to Most Greedy List
I know we talked about Greed, but what about the other common sins displayed by cartoon characters: Wrath and Gluttony? Trina Riffin (Grojband) and Eustace Bagge (Courage the Cowardly Dog) are decent examples of Wrath while Homer Simpson, Chowder, and Owen (Total Drama) are prime examples of Gluttony. Yeah, I listed Eustace under Wrath instead of Greed because, let's face it, dude's always bitter for basically no reason.
If more fair labor laws were passed in Bikini Bottom (such as making it illegal for SpongeBob to refuse a higher minimum wage), you can bet SpongeBob would fight with his life to repel such laws. His loyalty to the Krusty Krab is thanks to its food's addictive qualities. Mr. Krabbs can rest easy knowing his star employee lives and dies by the spatula.
Cruella might be the most greedy Disney character on the list, but in the Walt Disney Animation canon, Governor Radcliffe from Pocahontas is the greediest. He literally heads the colonisation of Jamestown intent on digging for gold, initiates war with the native Americans, and attempts to kill Chief Powathan after his speech about peace. Also, Madame Medusa from The Rescuers kidnaps a child and stuffs her down a dangerous hole to look for a diamond. Edgar the butler from The Aristocats kidnaps and abandons the cats in order to claim the owner's fortune, because he couldn't see that cats would have no use for money anyway. So there are a couple of more entries to the list here.
Ok the arristacats one i kinda see. The woman should have left him the money under the condition he uses part of it to take care of dutchess and the kittens.
I feel like Krabs is the worst on being greedy, while Burns is the worst person overall, Krabs after all did regret on selling Spongebob. Burns I don't normally see regretting his actions.
While Burns wouldn't be seen regretting his actions, Krabs would, he polluted the ocean a.k.a. his home, causing all of Bikini Bottoms population go South for better survival, Krabs saw himself as the perpetrator of this outcome
This may be going into fan theory but here may be some other points for Montana max: he is what is essentially a cartoon actor. He and his fellow toons live in what is essentially a between dimension between the real world and the full toon world. The tiny toons all go to what is essentially cartoon elementary version of jule art. And the line between skit and slice of life is hard to distinguish. So the question is, how much of max’s greed is his own, and how much of it is him playing a character? the character being a cartoonishly exaggerated version of himself as the greedy corporatist.
greedy is not something you can describe Chris Mclain. Selfish, sadistic, narcissistic, sociopathic, and vain sits him better. Besides he mostly uses the money for the show and his looks more than anything else.
Mr. Crabs definitely deserves the gold because the greedy crystation admits that he's a dictator and hates the thought of charity. Just goes to show you that Plankton is not the only evil character in the Spongebob series.
I'm surprised that Bender from Futurama isn't on this list. He's also pretty greedy, although with how much he cares about his best friend Fri, he clearly wouldn't get the gold for the greediest character out there.
I can see why you'd say Bender, but I don't think his greed is actual 'I need money' greed, I think he likes to put on an act that he's evil, selfish and greedy, but I think he just cares too much.
I can’t believe you guys didn’t mention the fact that Scrooge nearly went bankrupt trying to find Della! Then after she got back, he literally stated “who cares about the money tree? My family are in danger!” in the apocalypse bunker episode.
You should have included the Ben 10 reboot villain billy billions who falls under the spoiled brat and probably a spot lower than morebux as he is greedy but mostly uses his money to make fancy tools and weapons to defeat Ben or to plaster his name on something but he does, often recluctly, team up with Ben at times but only if it benefits him in the long haul
He attempts also to kill Squidward just to get more money out of his art because well apparently in Bikini Bottom art is more valuable without the artist
If you're gonna include Daffy Duck, you should also include Foghorn Leghorn, specifically his appearance in The Looney Tunes Show. Even if it's barely notable, it should probably be mentioned. Also, Daffy and Foghorn have worked together on various occasions
Mr. Krabs also deserves to be at the top of the list is because he would literally charge you for existing and forces his employees to work 24/7 with no breaks
Honestly, for me it's kinda back and forth between Burns and Krabs for who is greedier. You have someone who causes his rival business endless suffering, selling his most valued employee's soul for 62 cents, and used not only jellyfish, but also Gary to get rich, but on the other hand, you have someone who blocked out the sun, came close to winning a festival through cheating, and also forced someone to stay at his job forever. So yeah, pick your poison for this one.
Krabs is more greedy, burns is more evil. Unless you count the global warming psa where mr crabs made bikini bottom uninhabitable to sell access to his pool (which evaporated from the heat), in which case they are the same in terms of evil.
One time my mum told me that I’m the most sharing person she knows, that’s gotta be the best compliment I’ve ever received, my point is I’m glad I’m not anywhere close to being greedy like these characters, cause to my opinion greed is one of the worst qualities anyone could ever have
The funny thing is while although there may be more greedy characters Scrooge McDuck is the richest on this list (at least by the original cartoon). In it he has 6 CENTILLION dollars as stated in the season two episode where his money is sunk in a lake.
@@J.A.D.A.4709 Scrooge is the richest here but he isn't greedy by any means. He frequently spends money for his family especially the triplets after a while. He just doesn't waste his money.
And the crazy thing is that we shouldn’t blame Cruller (yes she try to make a fur coat out of Puppies but after all she got that from her fashion psychotic mum)
We all knew Mr. Krabs was the most greedy cartoon character of all time, and no one else could top out all of the money that cheap crustacean has.🦀💰💵🤑 Tuff Puppy Characters Good To Evil:🐶🐈🦴🐀 Good: Kitty Katswell Grey: Dudley Puppy Evil: Verminious Snaptrap
Pure most good- Little Foots Grandparents Second most good (and a little cooky)- Arnold’s grandparents (hey Arnold) Also Good- Tommy Pickles Grandparents (both sets)
Yeah cruella really is the worst I definitely agree with that one yea Mr. Burns is greedy definitely sometimes he becomes soft-hearted just like the other greedy people yeah Mr Krabs is one of the worst the only thing that he has empathy for is his daughter but all he cares about is money
I'd like to see this same list again but changing the subject to Pride instead of Greed. I'm guessing the 🥇 of Pride would go to Zapp Brannigan from Futurama.
You forgot Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible. He was rich from the episode "Ron the Millionaire". He spend his money on things--even has some over in season 4.
I don't think he really counts since he was only rich for that one episode, and unlike the other characters on the list money is not his primary motivation
Mostly it's to the characters on this video with The Deadly Sin of Greed but to Ron I say Pride from that episode that made him rich..and trust me money is a virus itself
Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable moments : Sad to Heartwarming Cartoon Couples: Cute to Very Cute BATIM characters: Evil to Very Evil DC Super Hero Girls(2019): Weak to Powerful DC Super Hero Girls(2019): Good to Best Friends Cartoon Heroines: Weak to Powerful Nicole Sullivan characters: Good to Evil
Mr. Krabs does care for his daughter. So while I hate Mr. Krabs, I think Mom is worse. I mean she mind controlled a lot of her customers to buy the eyePhone 2.
