Even the one with all the kids running past plank or the one with the Eds running into each other or even the one of the Eds on their bikes reminds me of the fun I had as a kid
When i was a kid, i used to believe that there actually was a cartoon city somewhere out there where all cartoon characters lived. Good times, good times. I really miss 2000s & early 2010s cartoons😢
If you believe in either heaven or god, then come to my heaven! It's pretty much going to be cartoon network city with cartoons from early 90s- med 2000's!
@@justacartoonfan2000's cartoons were great for humor and all that, but 2010 cartoons pushed storytelling aspect of these show because it stopped being all episodic
Watching this as a little girl always makes me wonder what the cartoon people are doing after these bumpers and how they live in this cartoon city. So nostalgic.
I use to have dreams as a kid that i was in cartoon network city with that little song playing in the backround and then i would wake up miserable that it was over because it was time to get ready for school… much simpler times 😞
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Nothing will ever replace ed edd n eddy’s hijinks, humor, or spirit ever again. This show was a gift that came once a generation. To have come home from elementary, middle, and early high school; sit down after school and homework, and watch Ed Edd n Eddy, fosters, camp lazlo, chowder, and all of the other great shows of an era gone by just feels so wholesome and nostalgic. Even thinking about it makes 29 year old me feel like a kid again. These shows, as well as : Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, and a little known game called Naval Ops: Warship Gunner, we’re my childhood. Good times lads/lasses. Good times.
I honestly wish I could go back in time and just see my young self enjoying these bumpers. They always made me feel something I just don’t know what that was, but I loved it
As a kid, I always envied the Eds tv universe. But seeing the guys outside of their TV show in a realistic setting, hanging out and doing regular stuff just hit in a different way. Especially since I first saw these bumpers during the summer. I didn’t think it was ever gonna end. Boy, do I miss those days. 😌
@paulseblano2761 in this particular chapter of my series, the James Gilliam Chronicles, the Eds would join forces with the title character of my series in order to bring down Black Mask(who's allied himself with the Kanker sisters) and his drug operations in Peach Creek
Better times gone by, everyone. There will never be another Cartoon Network City. No network has that much integrity, grit, and moxy anymore. Ed Ed n Eddy is still my favorite show and seeing these again after so many years means the whole world.
These made the cartoons have more depth and personality to them, instead of them being just something on a screen it made you feel like they were real people living in their own world
This one was my favorite of all the Ed, Edd N Eddy Bumpers (1:50-1:58) All three of them just into the Sunset and almost works at the time when they were coming to the end of the Show.
The only sad part is that there's little over three minutes' worth of these. Nevertheless, I love all of the bumpers but the sunset/sunrise one at 1:48 is my favorite one by far. It's such a simple yet wholesome bumper, watching the Eds contently walk into parts of Toon City unknown, ready to carry out whatever comes their way. :3
Idk dude, 9/11 happened... I just think we were all younger and in adolescence everything seems so innocent. But let's be real, the shows were great and have aged very well
Walking towards the sunset is my all time favorite cn city bump! If this would to play as soon as the big picture show ended, might have even shed a tear.
Something about seeing these characters just ac so chill compared to what we see on TV is so pleasant to watch, most of these is literally just them doing regular(ish) daily things or enjoying each others company. Hell they seem to be okay with the other kids too, I always liked to imagine these bumpers took place after the movie back then.
I like to imagine that this is what all of the Classic CN characters lives are like off camera. A more laid back and chill version of their lives as depicted in their shows. in the show Eddy is loud and angry all the time. but here off camera he's actually really chill and kind.
Its always wired but cartoon network city is suppose to be canon. And almost every show that appeared exclusively on cartoon network ate in one shared universe/ multiverse.
It’d be cool if Warner Bros. made a movie about Cartoon Network City. We would get to see what the retired characters are up to now, similar to Wasteland in Epic Mickey.
@@duncanmcknight4622that all started back in like 07 when they brought in those “new” crappier shows like chowder, flapjack and all those other weird shows. CN was never the same after that.
@@imadie1484 So you stopped watching CN around that time? I don't judge you, but when those shows happened I didn't mind them. I was just enjoying every bit of CN shows before coming to an end in 09 like I said before.
@@duncanmcknight4622 yeah basically. I would occasionally pop my head in from time to time for fosters, gym partner, camp lazlo and maybe Ben 10 by 07. All the other classic shows that were a staple from the late 90’s- mid 2000’s such as dexters lab, Johnny bravo and PPG had already come to an end. By the late 2000’s I watched adult swim more than anything else. The shows I mentioned in my previous comment never piqued my interest because they were either not funny, uninteresting, weird or didn’t seem original(
Today is my birthday and i seen this so many times it makes me cry cause i am really glad that the creator of Ed Edd n Eddy didn't want this show rebooted still the best show ever.
I tell you, fans were really going to miss seeing you guys show after it ended. To them, these city bumpers were CN'S way of thanking you & your fellow CN friends for all you contributed to the network during the early 2000'S.
@@nostalgianetwork1225 things weren’t all that great back then either. I remember as clear as day. The only reason you didn’t notice it back then was because you were a kid. Nostalgia plays the biggest tricks on people’s minds and we don’t even realize it.
Dude chill he was just try bring good vibes and no duh pal no generation was great and kids aren't stuipd bruh they know whats going out too and hell there even ones who mature for there own age like yo you don't have make it such a big deal about it jesus christ 😑
Of all CN's history, CN City was the crown jewel of their content! The concept of characters mingling so flawlessly was so amazing and one of my favorite things in animation, it is why I enjoyed House of Mouse for the wild content of characters that never met to be in the same room. There is a charm and quality to seeing the heart put into making these characters in all their personal quirks bounce off contrasting or similar personalities, this was the golden age of cartoons.. Gone forever.. We miss this heart and soul.
Eddy: Ed do you have a Quarter? Ed: I do not have a Quarter for you Eddy i am sorry do you have a Quarter Eddy?(Eddy annoyed and frustrated gets up and walks away)
1:58: When I was a kid, it felt to me like they were going to find a new adventure. Now, it feels like they're saying "it's been a fun ride. But now it's time to say goodbye".
Wow the memories. What a great concept, to mix the show with it's 2d animation with 3d backgrounds. If they ever did return to this show, then this style would be sick if they did go down that route
I remember these, I'm glad to see some the ones I missed, these truly were made with passion and heart, I will never forgot those simpler times with Ed, Edd n Eddy. Thank you for being a part of my childhood. 😭😭🙏🙏
slowly but surely the good old times start to fizzle out and the memories we've made slowly fade and the people behind it move on to other stuff but it's good to see something from your childhood be accessible to view. though I feel as tho with time with the bumpers near the end they start to give us the signs that those times are coming to an end and they knew it too.
I remember the ones with Double D hanging from the street light. I then saw the one with just the shoes and the silence later and thought he fell. Nostalgia. Pure nostalgia.
Fun Fact: Danny Antonucci, the creator of Ed, Edd, and Eddy, said they based on 3 guys he knew as a kid. He says they were always hanging out together. Real life ed boys.
It’s funny….I watched this early in the day…went to Walmart in the afternoon running errands and I saw Ed, Edd, N Eddy series collection on DVD and needless to say I bought it and enjoyed a night of laughs watching the comedic, idiotic, classic Ed Boys 😂
K no joke. The last set of bumpers where its just no characters and the backgrounds, an abandoned stand, a bike left outside. It gives me this vibe of when you're playing with friends, they run inside saying they'll be right back, but they just kinda leave you there.
