This special marked one of the best summers of my life. I was so excited for Camp Lazlo and Juniper Lee and I still listen to that song and watch the bumpers every year.
I’m 32 now ,this era was the year my childhood ended. I started high school fall 2005, and things were never quite the same after this summer. I was never this young care-free and innocent again. This was one of my last times being a kid and it was great
@@carlottajohns8691 The Summer Era was bland, but the Fall and Noods Eras were great, then the Check It Era came, which kept getting refreshed, and that was also horrible.
2000 - 2001 was Toonami's peak. 1999-2001 was C.N.'s peak. Afterwards up till 2005ish was the network's silver age. With the Summer of '05 representing arguably the best, that they had to offer. If the silver Age (especially summer 05) was an opened Time Capsule, it would spew out J.L. Season 2, The Cadmus Jlu episodes, Megas, Dbgt, Ultimate UNcut Dbz, and even the rise of Naruto & redebut of One Piece (jumping "ship" from Fox Box/4KidsTv). That '05 Summer, really was the last great display of C.N./Toonami. Afterwards felt like a polluted cesspool (live action shows and movies on a CARTOON Network/TOONami block 😒), or a last hoorah tour (*cough* last Jlu season *cough*) 😔
This aired 17 years ago today, man Summer 2005 was great. Not to mention, Juniper Lee is Voiced by Lara Jill Miller, who’s famous for playing Kari from Digimon as well as Libby Stein-Torres from the new animated Disney series on Disney Channel, The Ghost and Molly McGee.
I never knew this existed, but it is awesome to see. The summer of 2005 was the absolute best on CN. I loved the marathons on Lumpus and Slinkman's Cabin Fever.
Born in 97 miss these days when summer break was here going to San Diego all summer with my aunt and uncle sheesh what I would give to have them days again spend the day surfing and come home all sunburnt was the best
I'm so thankful this was recorded. I remember watching this live and constantly think back to this. Gottah agree with the guy above me. Definitely the best summer of CN.
Even if it's not yours thanks for uploading I had no idea this was here good stuff old cartoon Network for the win I love the summer so much and it's about that time of year again for summer so back into nostalgia I go! And hopefully to the beach for real soon lol
❤ love ya always old cartoon network 😊 Happy to see that there are some old shows back on cartoon Network nowadays at least a step in the right direction 👍 I think it's bring back great bumpers and commercials and specials like these though to really sell it like they used to! Going the extra mile for the viewers That's what Cartoon network used to be all about 💪

Cartoon Network's Summer 2005 Kick-Off Special (5/30/05) •Codename: Kids Next Door •The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy •Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends •Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi •The Life and Times of Juniper Lee •Camp Lazlo TOONAMI •Teen Titans •Justice League Unlimited •The Batman •Zatch Bell! •One Piece •Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo •Naruto •IGPX MIGUZI •Teen Titans •Code Lyoko
The Code Lyoko clip they showed here was a bit different from what the actual episode showed, as a few scenes were edited out, probably to make the action flow a bit better, meaning that out of all the clips shown here, that's the one the editing team actually had the most work on. Also, BoBoBo was supposed to premire in the summer? It ended up premiering in October that year instead.
