I thought they did, too! Some nostalgic bubble of excitement, anticipating a crossover episode that had been advertised for weeks, returned to the surface when she mentioned them together.

CHOWDER!! Schnitzel & Truffles were hands down the best parts of that show. Schnitzel's Rada rada & Truffles was just the incarnation of sas! Also them being voiced by John DiMaggio & Tara Strong were icing on that cake.
Thankfully, my mom knew Thumbelina and Anastasia were different because they were the only videos that I got for my birthday, and I watched those movies all the time😂
Chowder was my favorite secret obsession my sister and I used to quote it and watch episodes once we got cable finally. The flying fling dingers? Come on how do you beat that?!😂
As a little kid I watch both little bear and Franklin and I loved both of those shows very much. They were very cozy and I absolutely adored the art style.
Ypu actually solved a mystery for me! I remembered an animated movie where a truck crashes and theres a poisonous gas. The aesthetic looked like Secret of Nimh but it wasn't that. Now I know it was once upon a forest, thank you!
Once Upon a Forest is one of the most underrated animated movies. I own it and it’s one of my favorite childhood movies. Absolute classic, glad to see someone acknowledging its existence. I still remember the ending song during the credits. 😌 I still need to watch Secret of Nimh.
@@mojojojo3411Lol I loved both shows because the main characters were so flawed they felt like real people. I guess Carver is the Weekender's A-hole main character because he was always (hilariously) selfish.
@@propogandalf oop, I didn't know. I never watched it! I was mostly watching Pokémon and Whose Line is it Anyway, at that age. That time really was the age of the A hole protagonists, tbh. Like Foster's, Chalk Zone, Fairly Odd Parents
Little Bear and Franklin were so calm and sweet. Wish there were shows like that now. Seems like all the newer shows just get kids bouncing off the walls
As someone who absolutely adored both Franklin and Little Bear as a kid BECAUSE they had the same vibe, you are SO RIGHT. Honestly, you could’ve told me both of these shows canonically take place in the same world and I’d believe you
I KNOW it’s unrelated but black Christmas(1974) inspired Halloween and it NEEDS more fans😔 every classic slasher film was inspired by one another and as far as I’m concerned this is where it began
Holy cow I forgot about Little Bear! Love thw coverage of these childhood cartoons. One of my favourites was always Filmore. It was basically CSI for kids
As someone who grew up watching little bear, this has informed me that I will probably enjoy Franklin 🤣 I watch these almost solely so I can get personality based tv show recommendations because I haven’t seen or heard of most of these ha ha
I used to watch Pepper Ann a lot, so my siblings started to call me Clopper Ann.... (my names Claire) My childhood was full of little bear, franklin, the weekenders & rocket power!!!
Franklin and Little bear! Both Canadian shows. ❤ Grew up watching both, Little Bear is a wee bit similar to Franklin, I’d say it’s a little more mellow as a cartoon for kids. Both great stand alone shows. ☺️
Uhh speak for yourselves. In the UK people can tell the difference between films. Thumbelina, and Anastasia were two of my faves. My number one fave though was The Black Cauldron and NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT HOW IT WAS BASICALLY AWESOME
Oh gods the wave of memories when u showed Little Bear. I completely forgot about that one n definitely would not have remembered it from the name alone. I watched both it and Franklin but I remember Franklin more.
