24:50 Just an idea I got for the moth girl that's supposed to be Luna's sister, but I honestly don't know if its too dark. The moth girl could be Luna's sister, but ended up dying either prematurely, or due to Luna refusing to work with the 'Gunntech' company. This way, Luna can still be isolated in your arc, maybe never being able to seemingly let go of her grief over her sister's death. There's also something in astronomy called a dwarf moon, so maybe Luna's sister was the result of the company trying to mix animals with the power of a dwarf moon(?) Before casting her aside due to her power not being as strong as Luna's, kinda like always being on the other side of the moon and bathing in the shadow of it. However, it's literally 2:35 for me rn and this is just an idea I made on a whim.

I imagine Romeo having a big arc where it looks like he's on the path of redemption, only for him to betray the pj masks in the end, and end up dying in the process or smth another idea is to make romeo think that everything he's doing is right, and when he figures out he's actually the one in the wrong, he'd be so conflicted and scared, that he (in a darker then the rest of the show fashion) kills himself idk ideas LMAO

And so, out of mixture of guilt from what he's done and desperation, rather then turning himself in, he throws himself into the river or something
WHY DID I WAIT SO LOBG TO WATCH THIS VIDDO?!? This is everything I’ve (and younger me) wanted out of PJ Masks! I know I was the target demographic of the show back when it was first released (and when I was just there because my little brother was watching it too), but even then I wondered when they would pull a Spider-Man and have Romeo try to reveal their identities or something. I haven’t seen anything with the wolf season or anything beyond them (or did they all come in one season? It’s been many years) but I do remember Greg always being the cinnamon roll who could do no harm. Never seen the show but in the AU the werewolf kids could be more feral and animal-like. This would be because they were one of the first groups to be experimented on but the process wasn't quite perfected yet. This leaves the test subjects as more animal than human.

Ideas for their traumas Connor: since he became afraid of water as a side effect to his powers the training agency decided to just force him into bodies of water to make him desensitized. This would go on for hours until they would almost drown. So when they are around big bodies of water the get nervous. (Also it would be cool to see a shot where present him is pushed under water and after he goes under it is younger him in a pool struggling to swim.(also cloth+water =waterboarding sooo) Amaya: since she gained the ability to fly it would make sense that that was something she learned/was trained to do. So maybe they would make her attempt to fly and glide off of high platforms with minimal padding. Adding that birds have hollow bones it could be safe to assume hers are less dense than a normal humans, so they would break often. This would mean that if she were to stand on a high ledge and look down or start to nosedive it would trigger a trauma response. Gecko: sticking to walls was probably easy, but camouflage was probably not. So the training agency may have made him hide while trying to escape a labyrinth filled with people looking for him. When he was found maybe they would do something similar to a shock collar where something around there neck would shock then for a few seconds. This would result in them grabbing at their neck or collar of their shirt if they were hiding snd afraid of being caught. A leftover reflex from training. These are just some silly ideas tho, I haven't watched the full cod yet so tell me if I copied!
Little thing: Bird bones are actually MORE dense and strong than human bones; the bone struts support the bones and stop them from collapsing (sustained flight actually puts a lot of stress on a body), and bone support are more study and heavy than bone marrow. Basically, human bone is like a hollow metal tube, while a bird bone would be that hollow metal tubs with a metal grid supporting the inside. However, you could still do trauma thing for Amaya related to injuries: the structure of bird bones make them harder to break, but it's also harder for them to recover from broken bones, since they tend to splinter rather than break cleanly.

this is my first time seeing this channel but omg im obsessed!! kid/pre-teen me adored this show (specifically the earlier seasons) despite various world building/setting questions never being answered (why does nobody find the giant weird looking building in the middle of a pond suspicious?? how has no one seen the kids' nighttime activities?? where are these kids' eyebags, that's so unfair?? didn't romeo kidnap amaya and greg in the middle of the day that one episode, where are their relatives???? etc. etc) the rewrite and redesigns are stunning so here are some ideas floating in my head; 1. ships-wise, i love the idea of amaya x luna girl (let's go sapphics). and poor connor. as much as i love me my toxic yaoi (connor x romeo already seems so messed up in tho story), at least he gets a cool enby ninja eventually (connor x nori wasn't touched upon much in the vid, other than that one hilarious scene where connor was jealous of both romeo and nori at the same time, but i saw the replies in the comments and i already love it). greg is living that fun single life and just happy for his friends :D (your greg is very friend-shaped, i adore) 2. as for the story itself, here's some of my ideas so far for per season: - season 1 as you said is more lighthearted, kinda episodic with a lot of hijinks between the heroes and main 3 villains. though there's also a lot of focus on the dynamics between the 6. things like how connor and romeo are exes, our heroes' relationships with their parental figures (esp greg and mr. gunn), etc. and by the latter half of the season, hints at how suspicions gunntech truly is, our heroes doubts about their company, luna girl's and nori's distaste for the company, and romeo taking steps towards his overarching goal (since he along with gunntech seem to be the true main villains, while luna and nori get redeemed) - season 2, we see the heroes doubt the company more and more, and even approaching luna and nori about their doubts, since they've made their distaste towards the company very clear, and they find out why and realize they were completely justified in their hatred. so as our heroes are processing their "wait, are we the baddies?" moment, the company catches wind of their growing suspicion, and retaliates. greg's uncle approaches greg privately, wanting to talk with him. greg, who doesn't want to think his uncle is actually an evil mastermind, and hoping that everything is happening behind his back, agrees to meet with him. and then mr. gunn uses that trust to brainwash his nephew (lets embrace the trend of brainwashing atp :D). makes him the perfect soldier, no need for a civilian life to distract him, and perfectly obedient. mr. gunn tries to lure in amaya and connor using greg (because they already distrust him and his company, but they definitely trust greg), but they see the red flags and book it, and their doubts towards the company become very real. thus they become runaway heroes alongside nori and luna, who they team up with. thus we have an arc of an evil greg and the protagonist squad trying to get him back. but then ROMEO works behind the scenes and frees greg himself, and then they escape the company too and rejoin the others. while everyone is rejoicing getting greg and romeo turning to the good side too, connor feels suspicious about his sudden change of heart (and maybe nori and/or luna are suspicious too). and those suspicions prove to be correct in the season finale, as the hero squad attempt to topple the company and take down mr. gunn, romeo betrays everyone and usurps the ceo position after mr. gunn gets taken out of commission. he probably tries to reinstill the brainwashing in greg (when he "saved" greg, he actually wanted the reprieve to be temporary), but that at least gets stopped. but the season still ends with romeo becoming the true big bad. - season 3 i don't actually have any ideas for unfortunately. everyone is really angry about the betrayal. connor especially is beating himself over it because he WAS suspicious of romeo, but didnt so anything about it, and the others have to drill it into his head that no, this is not his fault. other than that, i can only think of the happily ever after things. romeo is rotting in jail alongside mr. gunn, the kids get their powers removed, connor and amaya cut off their toxic family members, the main 5 get to be besties, everyone tries to adjust to their new normal etc. - i just wrote those down the first things that come to mind, some things could be adjusted. like how i can see the whole brainwashing thing can be a season 1 finale thing, where the second the comapany senses the tiniest inkling of doubt, they go to drastic measures. something like that seems fitting for a season finale, and romeo's "turn to the good side" can be a mid-season thing. and i don't have ideas on how the secondary characters like dylan and an yu(? is that how you spell it??) fit into the story. 3. lore wise as to why amaya, connor, and greg are animal-themed while luna girl and nori aren't, i imagine that originally they just stuck with animals, which was when a c and got signed up for the company, dylan too probably. by the time luna and nori joined, the company wanted to experiment and try other sources so to speak, and see if they can make the heroes more powerful. tho they stopped trying considering both of their newer experiments became powerful enough to full-on escape from the company, and went back to just animals. i think i've rambled for long enough. again, if it wasnt obvious enough, i LOVE this, and im kinda hoping for more content of it, even it's just drawings of potential scenes or scene and story ideas in the community tab. thank you for trudging through this long ass comment ^^

@@Elmushterrilet's start with this: Since he was raised on the other side of the lab he was EvLiY 😈 influence by his mom or dad or smth to make him think what they're doing is good and that "they're making the world a better place" because the parent is very influential he Had A Dream. So, as a child he began to cook up plans to actually help the world with the experiments (but it wasnt really helping) and what began as a dream became an obsession and took a terrible turn (trying to change world but bad way). Ever since then he looked up to his parental figure saying that they were one of the most talented scientist in the labs or so he thought... .When he realized the company was a fraud, he began to question "Was I going to be like this either way?" "Is this what they intented me to be?" "Is what I'm doing wrong?" "WHATS GOOD OR BAD???" That sorta thing idk this just a big thought 🫥 (What has my mind become into 🧍♀️WHY AM I SO INTO THIS 😭😭??)

Idea for Luna Girl: the company was using her to steal from… like… government agencies to get things for their experiments? So when she escapes them, that’s the only life she knows. She longs for the childhood she could’ve had, so she steals toys. Deep down, she wants to be good. She wants to become better.
Concept dialogue: “You three don’t get it! You have friends, you have lives outside the facility, you have EACH OTHER! I have NO ONE! I was never given the chance to HAVE a childhood!” “Luna, we never had a childhood! We were here since preschool. What kind of ‘childhood’ is just PRESCHOOL?!” “I… you… but…”

However She does helps bursting them out and Will use this on future arguments with him

Oddly enough I feel like Luna girl would occasionally steal some toys since the company robber her of a childhood, so it would be her little escape from reality and for a bit just be an actual kid again, lol
ok so Im trying to come up with a story on how the whole villain group escaped. So, when they were getting trained, they were all trained at the same time, with the ninjalinos being younger recruits being prepared for an experiment. Greg being so close to the executives, and the three being best friends, would have resulted in being thought of as not reliable allies to escape So, NN was the lead in the "rebellion" (not really a rebellion, just them breaking out), because he was the one who had found out the most about the whole experiment things. He was always in charge of the little, new recruits, which would make him really see how they were treated, and how the experiments were harming them all without them realizing (this could be like a kid who loooved plants being like given fire powers or something, and they would burn plants and cry and NN would see that the federation was actually forcing them to stop doing what they really loved, and alienating from what made them happy, so they would think the federation was the only thing that would make them happy and make them more obedient and loyal to it) so he would be the first one to start trying to rebell. At that time they were all like between 8 to 11 years old probably, like NN was the oldest and had to take care of everyone. So, at the time Luna was maybe going out with either Cat boy or owlette, but was very close to NN, so she would slowly pull away when realizing that the three would ruin their plan of escaping, or at best decide to stay. This had the consequence of the three alienating themselves more and, because of that, becoming very dependent on the federation, despite it harming them too. (I can imagine before the expriments maybe CatBoy loved the water, but then with his slight fear being magnified by the federation locking him in pools and stuff, he lost all the passion he had for boats and stuff) (also Moon wouldve probably convinced herself she liked NN so that she could forget Owlette (or Catboy, but Id rather it was Owlette because yay lesbians)) One day, NN, Moon, and all the kids ran away. But they didnt, or rather couldnt, do this without help. Romeo helped them, however he didnt do it for free. Quid pro quo. Moon agreed to be experimented on at one point in her like, but Romeo strangely didnt use it for a long while (idk this is just so it can fit the Darcy, Catra, Hunter, and other young adult cartoons' standard of mind controll and manipulation) So in the end, thats how they all escaped the agency. Eventually rhey would meet again as villains and Moon, having gone years convincing herself she hated Owlette (and with the influence of Romeo, who was still getting ready to brainwash her or something) she always made rude comments towards her, which made Owlette convinced that she truly had always been a villain and thats why they ran away. I just realized I completely ditched the "Owlette OR Catboy" being the love interest for Moon at the end. I just think it would be more fun if it was Owlette

Night ninja/The NIGHT definitely straightens up his back whenever he goes toe to toe with Connor, just staring at him smug about how taller he is when their difference is 3 cm. And that triad of heart/muscle/brain, Connor always talks about how he is the brain of the team, since Greg is obviously the muscle; but really its Amaya since her animal is an owl. He later goes on a development arc where he realizes that being the heart of the team is important too so it makes him a more empathetic leader.
Oh yeah the whole triad thing makes a lot more sense when you factor in that many cats are massive empaths despite us seeing them as just sly and tricky. And since Connor is said to be very solitary, what if he isn’t sure about being the “heart” of the team since he’s used to hiding his own emotions?

Like Romeo gaslighting Connor for getting emotional and other stuff, it could make Connor want to suppress how he feels as much as possible, and he could have a whole arc about accepting his emotions and feeling less terrible about them.
I have so many ideas. I imagine that Dylan being called Armavillian annoys him so much because he might’ve ran away before, and probably came back because of how guilty he felt leaving them all behind. Which links back into what you said about Greg and Dylan boxing each other, they could’ve been childhood friends of sorts, growing up in the lab together. ALSO you should do the show octonauts (no pressure this was made four days ago) but I have so many ideas for that I could go on a whole other rant.

There’s a Marvel superhero called Moon Girl, so they may have been worried about confusion. It works out, since they ended up making a show about Moon Girl (and Devil Dinosaur :>)

For the wolves and Luna's sister.. I have a couple of suggestions: 1 the company first started making non-animal supereroes, and when they started with Luna's younger sister things went wrong (and probably the reason why Luna quitted). The wolves were the second attempt, also didn't go too well. 2 The company first tried animal supereroes, but they started with children waay to young to make it work with, and swithed to non-animal related stufffor the next experiments 3 They started with animal supereroes, mutating them at the same age they did with the main group, didn't work. This some years before the main group got taken in for experiments, and making Luna's sister the oldest, giving Luna a reason to run away from the company as soon as possibile
The only reason i can think of on why Gecko and Catboy wipe their eyes when Owlette and Luna girl get along is that they really want them to get together and them getting along is a sign that their otp 'might' happen
I LOVE THIS VERSION SMM, though if you dont mind id like to share a lil bit abt my rewrite, specifically personality wise (bc just like everyone else here i also love making darker and grimmer rewrites of kids shows) Connor - I always imagined Connor having really bad anger issues.. idk where it stemmed from but it just made sense to me so boosh, these anger issues were caused by his mother (mother issues go brr), and growing up he’s always had problems containing it and would often get picked on to get a reaction out of him (ehem Cameron mention). That was until he met Greg (also named Gregory in my rewrite), which the sweet golden retriever boy helped him cope and became his proper friend. Aside from that, he’s protective, often clumsy and pretty loud (loves origami, taught by Greg, canon i think?) Amaya - she was also teased on, and mocked as the “quiet kid”, though when Greg came into her life and properly introduced her to Connor she became bolder, sassier, and techy (does gymnastics, heavy comic lover), she’s considered the brain of the group, and the sub leader whenever Connor wasn’t present. Greg - our sweet boy, he was the one that practically saved his friends lives (emotionally so to speak), he brought them out of their shells and is the sunshine of the group. He can be abit naive at times, though he does have the purest intentions at heart (one thing he loves doing is spending afternoons styling his friends hair with flowers or making flower bracelets & crowns, in fact it was a friendship flower bracelet that he gave Connor when they became friends) (NOTE: this rewrite uses their kid version) so to anyone that reads ALL of this, thank you for taking the time to read about one of my bigger imagines :DD

Just to add on a bit for like a scene idea. Luna girl takes Motsuki to training or like these sorta scientific lab experiments cuz she is like a bit unnerved cuz she heard that there is high likelyhood of failure or complications.Then after Luna walks her in, and watches her to support her through the process from the like other side of the glass (where the scientist are), suddenly there is a big flash, the glass panel seperating the lab from the testing room shatters. The alarm sounds, tasers are being pulled out as Motsuki refuses to comply with the orders from the scientist and is becoming increasily aggrivated.Screams are heard all while Luna is getting up thrown back from the blast.She can hear her Motsuki screeching in pain as the scientist and guards try to neutralise her(the whole shebang, she is getting tazed and handled roughly, feel free to add some sort of chemically engineered gas/noise or smth that like weakens them, cuz evil people smart and dont take risk). Luna tries to run to her sister, hands pull her back, restraining her, barring her sister and her apart. Sister gets dragged away by guards, scientist blabbing about how this is a big issue, Motsuki could be a threat(they also mention some past like misdemanors where she doesn't follow instructions on missions and nearly messed up a lot of them).Then like Luna can maybe pass out( from stress I guess I think there has to be a logical explanation but idk.Maybe adrenaline or smth or hear me out..she has a condition like a genuine health condition which weakens her state like maybe she has a weak heart or smth.Maybe a draw back from the powers effects or the toll of the experiments? Maybe she sometimes gets like the drawbacks or like maybe her condition gets worst during a fight against the PJ Masks and like Gecko helps her hide from the other PJs and gets her away from them so that deepens the bond that Elmushterri was talking about because she feels more greatful to Gecko.) Lune asks around a few days after the whole experiment incident.Then she gets so angry cuz she is being kept in the dark that she goes to like the head researchers or smth (but she is like not supposed to be able to like she is by passing like security stuff? So like could be her act of rebellion). She storms demands answers and gets a cold and shut off response about how they she doesn't have the security clearance to know the confidential information.Insert lines like " We don't talk about, Motsuki's little incident.", then I can't really think of one rn ( I might be back to add one) but like a line that indicates that they want to sweep the whole thing under the rug.Luna tries to get some words in is quickly abruptly off by the cold and unnerving demeanour of the scientist( by unnerving I meant like no empathy, she doesn't even see her subjects as humans or things with feelings.)(Maybe Romeo could be the person who says these things if u wanna add like a sorta conflict between Luna and Romeo.)Then the scene could end with; a) Luna being dragged out of the room cuz the scientist called security b) The scientist heads out to attend to smth,( you could connect the case that the scientist is handling to like a different part of the story or smth.)Luna tries to stop her (the usual"We r not done here!"). Finally the scene ends when the door like shuts. Alright, thank you for reading through this like essay and have lovely day.
I like thinking about the main 3 villains and what they could be in the day Romeo - Romeo is a science-y kid and enjoys science. His parents are scientists. His robot is tiny during the day and transforms big at night. Gets bullied and kinda crazy with his science expirements in his parent's lab. Luna - loves moths and prob has a moth cage thing (yes ik she lives on the moon but maybe she goes there at night). prob poor Night ninja - An older brother of a bunch of younger siblings. Takes care of his siblings. Likes playing ninjas with his siblings.
Maybe Romeo is excluded by the other kids because of his intelligence and the fact that yo them, he's not normal (I mean, normal is overrated, but kids only hear that from adults so) so that's another reason why he would want to create a better world in his image
I remember in an episode that it was Romeo’s birthday and robot was the only one who remembered it and I think he said that nobody else remembered his birthday which might hint that his parents neglected him
The redraws of these characters are amazing!! I love your artstyle so much! I haven't seen PJ Masks in a very very long time and iirc I didn't watch any episode willingly past season 1 because of how purely episodic it was even for kid me (I use to watch Ever After High and Winx, so I was probably bored that they didn't touch up on any lore aspects lol). I have a few thoughts bubbling up, and I might as well pop those bubbles and mindlessly rant about it; My personal ships/thoughts on the characters & vague story plotline: Connor x Nori (Night Ninja) --- Nori definitely heard about the lab replicating catboys on younger children and in some way, it becomes a bonding experience with Connor. They form this pact where they learn from each other as mentors to these children. Nori probably tries their/his best to try and break to Connor about how unethical this experimenting is but never gets around it until the last possible moment before disaster. Would adore an arc where Connor learns to cope with the fact that Romeo was not a good partner to him and somewhere along the way, he learns to love and appreciate Nori and experience a healthy romantic relationship. (i love sassy, over-the-top characters x the annoyed quiet one with a past) Connor x Romeo --- Toxic relationship. If Romeo does became a pseudo or fully redeemed character, he most likely had a really messed up view on relationships (and a truck load of trauma) and learns how terrible he was to Connor, and how effed up their entire relationship was. In that version they talk through everything and sort of have a "neutral not really friends but not hostile to each other thing. Amaya x Luna Girl --- Their interactions in the show are adorable. They would absolutely bond with little gadgets and trinkets. I'm going off of one episode where Amaya gets a new tablet, but it sparked to me that she's probably the one in their trio that loves tech. It would be interesting foreshadow for the trio that GunnTech & Mr. Gunn = the actual evil thing all along would be shown when Amaya gets a new gadget. And specifically it's an episode with Luna where she goes down easier than usual because it triggered a past trauma with GunnTech, and though it is their mission to neutralize the "bad guys", they all are just kids with a heart so they are very concerned for Luna. In the end Luna sort of encourages Amaya to tinker with it a bit so it wouldn't be so invasive (I imagine GunnTech gadgets given to the PJ Masks are all very privacy invasive). Other than that idea, I got vibes from the show that they have a sort of rivalry dynamic and I would love to see it in the rewrite. Greg --- He's a character I hold near and dear to my heart, and probably the reason I kept watching the show for as long (or technically short) as I did. With that, I do headcanon Greg to be aroace or at least one of the two. But, Luna Girl and Greg would have an amazing dynamic with this rewrite, so I can be persuaded to enjoy that ship. I imagine since the rewrite has the characters a lot older and they are going on these missions when they are a lot older, the main trio didn't really get to know each other (past surface level stuff) until Mr. Gunn teamed them up together. After Greg's uncle (technically) bought these kids to experiment on them and since they are different animals they would probably be in separate rooms. As kids they would definitely play a lot together, but their free time after school would mostly be used up (aside from homework) in the labs. When big breakout of the antagonists happens, this is probably where Mr. Gunn panics and Greg gets vaguely told about it, and since Greg is like the Adrien Agreste of the show and his uncle is his only family left (or is he), he says to Mr. Gunn that he'll take care of it (because he craves validation just like Adrien wink wink) and asks help from Amaya and Connor. (Side note: Connor and Romeo definitely had a falling out a few weeks before Romeo rebelled from the lab which is why he's whiny all the time at the start. Like a toxic relationship withdrawal.) The first season would definitely be them getting to bond a lot more and developing their dynamic as a team, since they live double lives and are going through the same experience. Well this was longer than intended lol. But thank you Elmushterri for reminding me of this silly little show. This is my first video from you, and I love the concepts you have when rewriting!!
24:59 If you do choose to keep in Luna's sister you could make it so she turns into an actual moth and Luna is desperately trying to find a way to fix it. That way she'd feel more alone than ever! If you want even more trauma for them you can have the company tell Luna that it was her fault that her sister got turned into a moth! (Due to disobeing rules/proceagers or something like that.) It would also give her a really good reason to HATE the organization and why she messes with it so much. She could have found the truth or ran away in shame of her perceived wrong doing.

Disclaimer: This massive wall of text is the result of me trying to compile a massive reply thread into one comment, so be warned, it may or may not be VERY messy ;-; Another commenter already pointed this out, but there was an episode where Romeo was temporarily able to mind control Owlet and Catboy, and since you were talking about giving the main trio the Catra/Hunter/Darcy treatment, what if he did it to Connor? (I’m going to be quoting a LOT of other commenters so sorry 😅) Hear me out: Similar to Nori/Night, Romeo is able to somehow get his hands on a lot of the backup kids that the facility was using (either to make those Catboy clones mentioned or for future heroes), and Connor goes to free them since they see him like a big brother, and since someone else mentioned him being the “heart” of the team, so he’d be the most concerned about them. However, something stops him from freeing them, and Romeo confronts him. Romeo starts being all condescending and shit and trying to manipulate Connor into joining him, but Connor refuses. However, when Romeo talks about brainwashing the kids, Connor is furious, but is unable to defeat Romeo this time. Romeo then strikes a deal saying that if he frees the kids, Connor must willingly undergo one of those brainwashing things, and out of options, Connor accepts. BUT, as the operation is taking place, Romeo goes back on his word, and he continues to train the brainwashed kids. Connor gets angry at being double crossed, and demands Romeo free the younger kids. Romeo is a bit surprised because he hasn’t seen Connor get so fired up about anyone like this in a hot minute, mainly since you said Connor is more solitary, and cats can be both quiet and highly empathetic, so then Romeo says some snide shit like, “Now’s not the time to develop a heart.” And Connor is successfully brainwashed, so now the other four have to fight this hoard of brainwashed heroes in training plus Connor. Also it would be super horrific if Connor is somehow still conscious throughout this, and he’s both miserable due to feeling like he’s trapped back in that toxic friendship all those years ago, but he’s also hesitant to resist since he hasn’t felt that same (albeit manipulative) validation that Romeo gave him in so long and he sort of relapses back into succumbing to Romeo’s will. And imagine the angst potential of Nori facing against brainwashed Connor and a sort of realization that they both have a lot in common (having younger *siblings that look up to them) and Nori being super determined to save the person he initially had the most fun messing with (Sort of like a Sayaka and Kyoko situation) and Nori is somehow able to get through to Connor so that he fully rejects and breaks free of Romeo’s mind control.
22:31 Waittt Dillon and Greg could be great rivals/foils or something. If they both do boxing and have strength based powers, it makes sense that they’d be compared right. Because they have similar abilities, they’d be competing for the same title/position or something(if that makes sense in your world?) And no hate to Greg, but because he’s awkward and sheltered I could totally see him rubbing some people the wrong way. Like if you’re fighting the head scientists nephew, and he kicks your ass in front of everybody, you could totally interpret him trying to be nice afterwards as him snidely mocking you. And that’s why he overdoes it!!!! Cause he thinks they’re sworn enemies or something but Greg’s just like “what is up with this guy?” OHHHHHH and if Romeo’s a scientist who wants to do experiments on people he could totally Bane/Venom Dillon. Like he would mess with his chest thingy to make him stronger, but it would overtake him and he wouldn’t be able to control it. Like in a Spider-Man villain way if that makes sense. And the company could allow it cause then they could control him and they can’t control the others anymore.
stupid idea: There was that one episode where Romeo used some kind of device to briefly turn Catboy and Owlet evil. Maybe there could be some sort of arc involving romeo basically torturing/brainwashing one of them?

Like, oh my God, the concept is amazing and your art is really good. I was already such a huge Romeo fan years back and this has brought that back. This show has so many different questions that probably will never be answered about the lore but actually has serialized or overarching plots which I find interesting for a pre school show.
I took me way too long to grow out of that show, I remember the four part season 4 (?? In my country at least) special and that random season 2 arc when we go from no lore to lots of lore, but nothing is still fully explained and it's very vague, like yesterday. I still remember the Luna girl creates herself a sister out of loneliness (and weird moon powers established in that two part-er in the season 2 lore arc and expanded in season 3, but not enough to stop being confusing but I digress) and now has to get used to having a sister arc, she really was goated. I remember knowing all the vague lore off the top of my head, and knowing a few things from the original books - not alot tho -
I remember the lore from season 2 to 4 (season 1 didn't have lore and I don't remember if I saw season 5, but deffo haven't seen anything beyond) I was such a stupid nerd, but I was free. I haven't gotten any better

Going off of your lore I think it would be interesting if night ninja wasn’t a company experiment and he’s just that skilled. Like maybe he was a candidate for some kind of alteration but could see the writing on the wall and got away in time.
Maybe he started to go up against the company because they went after a cousin, sibling or a friend of his. Whoever that person was unfortunately didn’t make it through the experimentation process and night hasn’t seen them since they disappeared, devoting year after year of his life training and researching so that one day he can expose and destroy the company that took away that person. In the mean, until he can enact his plan, he spends his nights rescuing the company’s latest victims, trying to save as many children as he can muster from becoming the company’s latest casualty.
Honestly, I could see night ninja as the eldest sibling of a bunch of little siblings. With parents who are rich, rich, but very absent and neglectful, so he basically raises them all. And when he was young, he met a master ninja, who took him under his wing and taught him everything before he passed. So night ninja now feels the need to protect as many kids as he can, so he saves as many young kids from the company as possible. Provides for them by stealing money from his parents and teaches them to protect themselves, just like his master did with him.
