As a custom wood worker I am with you, it is the best feeling to make toys (even tools when they get older and take an interest in dad’s passion) and you can see that they are impressed and even though it’s hard for kids (at least mine) to express their appreciation, still is the best feeling. Nice to see other dads do this. The couple vids of yours I’ve seen today are impressive and I commend you on being a decent human. I’ll will watch everything you have just based on that. My late father did something similar for me and my brother. He brought the pieces back from work, and we got to choose what kind of plane we wanted. My brother got bored with the idea quite quickly, but with my dad's help, I ended up with a four-engined bomber in camoflague paint. Me and my dad always worked together on jobs around the house once I was old enough. My happiest moment was when he decided he wanted to make a drop ceiling in our lounge, and he asked for my input on how we should do it. I knew I had become a man in my dad's eyes then. Miss you dad.

For those who keep saying the wings are backwards, you are wrong. These are unswept elliptical wings. The straighter edge is usually in the front and the curved edge in the back.

When i was little girl, my Dad, who is not a carpenter, built me doll house from an old wooden bookcase. Hands down, the best gift ive ever gotten. It replaced my cardboard doll house. I guess he felt sorry for me 🤓
