I'm from Italy and I'm so impressed from your accent, it's perfect!! Maybe you don't know but this song was composed and sung by the italian folk to support our rebels (called partigiani) who were fighting against the Nazis and Fascists to free our country (which was freed in the 1945), in fact we have a special bond with this popular song.
