Casa Loma Toronto
It was initially built in 1911 as a private residence-the largest in Canada at the time-for financier Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, Casa Loma (1 Austin Terrace) is now a historical museum, as well as a popular tourist spot and filming spot for movies and television.
Casa Loma is worth visiting at any time during the year
Casa Loma. Casa Loma, or Hill House in Spanish, is one of Canada's most famous castles converted into a museum. Located in Canada's most iconic city, Toronto, Casa Loma is a Gothic-style mansion that has become a true must-see in the city. It has also become a must-see attraction when visiting Toronto.
Casa Loma stood as a monument to its creator - it surpassed any private home in North America. With soaring battlements and secret passageways, it paid homage to the castles and knights of days gone by. To this day it remains one of the only true castles in North America.
