Hi we just moved into a house with this fan and i notice it has more of a wobble/tilt(bottom cover) than the one in video, Is a certain amount of wobble ok? Or is there a way to balance/re tune? It's hard to think that some light balance weights will fix it as it shows some resistance as i pull down on blade.
Some wobble is ok and perfectly normal. Nearly all fans are designed to handle wobble such as this fan which uses a ball/socket ceiling mount designed to swivel with the fan wobble. I'd recommend starting with using (1) or (2) fan balance kits which can easily be found at Home Depot or Lowes. If that doesn't work I recommend replacing the set of blades. Fan blades can naturally warp over time and cause the fan to be off balance. While this fan has since been discontinued there are several new-old-stock sets available on eBay. Hope this helps!
Hello, I am looking for a replacement bottom glass piece for this fan. Casablanca no longer has any in stock. Does anyone have any recommendations where I can buy a replacement?
Unfortunately they are also sold out/discontinued the BelAir Halo bottom glass piece I am looking for. Hoping someone has the model and piece sitting in their garage
@@christopherleatham9139 Unfortunately that's the best source I can think of. I'd also check Ebay, there tends to be a consistent supply of Casablanca fan parts listed on that website. The Bel Air model is a commonly found model that was on the market for about 20 years, complete fans tend to pop up frequently on second hand websites like Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace which will provide you the bottom glass.
