Hey@@aidanspoekie good question. I was just checking the date this was actually recorded and it was in February 2023. I just didn't get around to uploading it until when I did. But yes, in Latin America in general you will see more people wearing masks than in other places. It's incredible but I just arrived in Greece yesterday and noticed the same thing here.

I'm coming there next June 2025. Just wondering , about rents there, so tell me Can you rent an 1bedroom apt in casco viejo for 600 to 800 amonth. Very interested to know if I'm dreaming or I'm I close to Reality

Very good question. I actually think it might be possible on the outskirts if you do it off Airbnb. The few I've seen there are double that but there are always options. I tend to stay outside that area and just visit when I want.

So now you know my rent ranges and intentions . Please suggest 2 or 3 places that might be good for me Soon as I get there I'm contacting you , know that. Hi Mr Murry, My name is Renee. I was watching this video and saw your interest for renting one bedroom apartment in this area, with an average price up to USD 800.00 During the video in the minute 5:50 there is a narrow street that will lead you to the Selina Hotel. Right in front of Selina is PH Condominio Real, where I have a 2 bedrooms apartment, furnished. We can deal a bit more if you want. Let me know if you have interest on it, I'll be glad to show it. I keep hearing about garbage. Is garbage and the collection of garbage an issue in Panama City?

I would say it depends where you are but if you live in the typical expat areas or in buildings then there is no issue whatsoever. Plus, garbage collection and disposal is all taken care of by building management so you just put your garbage in the bin and they do the rest. That being said, ocean garbage is a real thing and you see if driving in certain parts of the city. It's a sad reality all over the world now unfortunately but you really see it firsthand in Panama.

@@flaneurlife Thank you for responding. I will be in Panama City for just 6 days next month. I look forward to exploring the city. I’m retiring in July and Panama City is one of our retirement options. I was concerned about the garbage and humidity.
