My front hub is kind of 'knocking'. This video helped me understand how the assembly works, and I think it might be my wheel lock. I adjusted the hubs thinking it was loose chain, but nope, still clicking. Thanks so much for the time and posting this. I'll figure it out from this.
A press works with a lot less violence, both pushing them apart, and putting them back together. I drill the housings and put in grease zerks, being able to grease them once in a while seems to help. Typically the outside seal lets moisture in and takes out the outside bearing.
Great video, helping me a ton. I looked for the other parts but couldn’t find them. I’d really like to see getting the hubs off. I have one I need to rebuild. And wondering where you are getting your parts from.
Thanks for your video brother but I got some problems I'm hoping you could help me out with nobody ever shows put these back together including UI ordered my bearings and unfortunately some people calling wheel bearings and some people call him axle bearings there's A176 in A175 The onlyl is different seems to be that 1 is cheaper than the other so I ordered the wheel bearing my issue is the bearing seal one is thinner then the other so I don't know which side they go on and it seems to me like the open part of the seal would go down towards the bearing but my helper who has experience says the open side goes up or away from the bearing

oops forgot question how do you put it back together lol yea part 2 the thing im wondering is everyone i see do this thew pack the bearings and races in but what about the things you cut off the spindles /axels
Wait a minute. My 91 model I can't remove the hub and gear all together. The hole is not big enough. How do I get the gear off because coming through the frame if you are using a puller to remove them on the bench????
Have you ever had to press rubber bushings part number 278365A1 into the spline coupler part number h436270 (those are actually a 1840 part number) if you have could you give me any tips on how to get pressed in? they are a bear
