A dealer had some laying around and I thought I’d try it to see if it helped get more corn off the cob instead of running straight bars in the front for hard thresh corn. I do think it helps keep concaves cleaner
Thanks for replying. I could see a couple of them in there maybe. We tried a full set one time with his helical Concaves. With that combination it made the combine take lots of power. We sent the bars back. I think now with the extra slow position on the vanes you can solve a lot of rotor loss and thresh problems in corn with factory bars and Concaves.
