That was fun, fan shroud has 2 small bolts and drops into slots at the bottom designed to come out with the fan, most vehicles don't have room to do it that way, without the shroud coming with the fan.
my truck you have to pull the water pump out the fan clutch and water pump is all one assembly. 1984 Nissan 720. think my fan clutch seems to be stuck on but moves freely when the truck is off and cold.
We started using Autozone Duralast Fan Clutches and they work the best. It would nice to use OEM but their $400 to $600 dollars if they haven't been discontinued by now. /K&K
