I love how committed to the rules the host is. Tracy's trying to get to the hospital to witness the birth of his child and yet the host would still kick him out if he's gets a question wrong. Ruthless 😂

@@TaylorWeston They actually snuck a tracker onto the Cash Cab so they could get Tracy into it while it was roaming for contestants. Ben Bailey thought he was getting answers from Tracy Morgan. Tracy improv'd half the lines and Tina fed him the rest through an earpiece.

DESPITE having gone to middle school at the exxon station?! … this show is the gold mine that keeps on giving. i’ve come back to it countless times and its always just as good as tne first time i saw it. side note… imagine a gen z getting into cash cab and having to answer these basic questions, especially the US history trivia 🤣 suffice to say, they’d likely make tracey look like albert einstein

Weird thing is, I actually came up with a similar premise a couple years before I ever watched 30 Rock. I was watching Cash Cab on Martha's Vineyard and was thinking, "You know what would be funny? If in a movie, a character has to get someplace real quick and/or follow someone, so they get in a cab and it turns out to be the Cash Cab and they are answering questions and getting money during an intense scene." I guess one of the writers on 30 Rock had the same idea. Imagine how surreal it was for me to watch this scene for the first time.

They should’ve done it so that Tracy has to decide whether or not to go for the video bonus question, and ends up getting it wrong. Losing all the money and missing his child’s birth.
