I started with a savvycents Wallet when i first started budgeting years and years ago. I absolutely loved that wallet!! BUT now i just use my Coach zip up wallet and i love it AS WELL👍🏼

Hi Lizzie I just started budgeting last week. I get paid weekly so I just planned a budget for the a month. I assigned money to each category and started stuffing on Friday so tomorrow will be pay day and stuff day. I out the receipts there because I have my debit card for doing my shopping. I made the check book slip for writing it down fast. I use the goodbudget also to know my amount leftover

I just got a cash envelope wallet and I really do like it. I would really prefer to have cute, themed envelopes like the ones in the wallet you opened. You can tell what it's for with or without the label, so I just like that better than what I have right now. I'll probably order different cash envelopes at some point. Love the wallet I currently have, though.

I made mine too but need to update cause they kind of look rough. Thinking about going to the bank and getting a bunch from the teller and decorating them. I taped mine to a piece of cardstock so I could flip through them as needed and stuck them in the middle of my planner.

I'm be honest and say that cash budgeting is the best! My husband use to work as a waiter so he earned very little money. He was always paid in cash, so every night when he came back from work he would hand me the money in which I would budget it and save towards our bills for that month. Now, my husband has a very good stable job and earns so much more, but instead of getting paid in cash he gets paid through direct deposit. I'll be honest budgeting has been so much harder because it's a card you just swipe and it's so easy. We just waste and waste and by the time we know it, we're broke. Which is why I've gotten back to budgeting how I use to when we didn't earn enough money. Every month my husband gets paid I go to the bank and withdrawl money then put the money into our categories I have for us and every since I started doing this, it has saved us so much money. We are now more vigilant on how much money we have and we don't go above that budget. One of our biggest problems was eating out, oh my gosh, we spent so much money in just eating out so now our budget for eating out is $50 a month. Due to health concerns we've had to stop eating out and are now more focused in our health and eating healthier plus working out. We still eat out but now it's once a month and says it's our "cheat" meal for the month. As of now, I'm doing the cash clip system, my husband is the only one who works currently since I was affected by covid and had to leave work. Just like some of us I am struggling to find a job that will work for me since we have 2 kids and my husband works away so it's just me on my own. Anyways, if you're a spender I recommend the cash envelope system very helpful and beneficial in so many ways, I mean, we've managed to tackle down some of our debt.

I would agree with you 100%. It’s honestly discipline and knowing yourself. We were all cash spenders for years! We saved so so much. Just this past year we made the switch to cashless. I can say yeah we have spent a bit more but our goals are still being met and we are happy with that. Everyone is different and one budgeting method doesn’t work for everyone. I love changing things and trying news things. 😊 I’m so glad you are finding the cash method to work for you guys!! It’s so amazing when you see the hard work pay off isn’t it?!! 👏👏

I don’t know about that item you unboxed, it’s a clever idea but the thing about carrying around cash is if it’s lost or stolen you can’t file a dispute or claim with your bank. I never carry cash. I just use online banking to budget. Especially if you have a smart phone, it’s just safer. Nice informative video,.

I am now using the Soligt Cash Wallet. I saw the conscious wallet,but opted to get the Soligt. I am on a budget and saving some dollars was what was on my mind. I have seen other reviews of the wallet you reviewed. The Soligt Wallet is just as good. They have a black and red one. They were on sale if you are a prime member you got a small discount on the Soligt. They are normally $22.95,but we're on sale for $19.95. I missed that sale on the black,but thought about going to get the red one. Now it is normal price which is not expensive at all.
