This woman was picked up by ICE and on her way back to El Salvador and she’s been in the US since the age of 10. And had to audacity to not pay this woman back after she helped her from being deported. Not only does that sound ungrateful but Crazy!

It is sad because there are good people who do pay back gifts and loans but people would never help them out because they were burned by people who just want handouts, it's just a shame that people won't even attempt to give back, help out or pay back things when they were in a bind.

I'm not buying her acclimating story, she came here at 3, that's practically her whole life. I came here at 9, and I went to college and everything. She's been in the states longer than her own country. I teach ESOL and kids pick up English so fast even when the parents don't speak english themselves. If her excuse was she had to help at home and could not focus on school, then yes I get that. Immigration process is no joke thank God for the lady that helped her.

This is a perfect example of why Foundational Black Americans need to focus on helping themselves and stop trying to assist non-Black people who aren’t from this country. In this case, you have a Black woman referring to a Hispanic immigrant female as her daughter, but yet the immigrant didn’t even have the respect and integrity to pay back the person who assisted her to become a legalized US citizen. Wonder why that same Black woman didn’t put her compassion and sympathy towards finding a Black husband?

The defendant speaks English quite well now and evidently has for a while. I am aware of many, many people here in California who can barely speak English and do quite well. There are portions of California cities, where English is rarely spoken. She states it was hard for her to acclimate linguistically, but she acclimated very well to the scamming and dishonest ways of Americans. This was actually a win-win since the show pays the judgment.
