I appreciate how in this video they didn't have these super smiley fake customer-employee interactions like you see in training videos for other companies. No one is smiling all the time their entire shift, and the customers mostly just look bored and like they want to get home. It's also clear that they filmed in a real store cause you can hear the screaming kids lol. Very realistic
Thank God for this video. My cashiering was sooo lacking the confidence. I desperately needed it for my 10 dollar an hour job. Phew. Saved in the nick of time before anyone noticed my register insecurity.
Those registers are really annoying. I would have lost my mind within 10 minutes if i worked there! I'm glad when i worked in retail that the registers weren't that noisy!

I went to work high and it wasnt pleasant no sleep at all and took way to much of what I was on so I was sweating all day and my pupils were huge no one noticed but I felt so gross idk what was in those pills but coke or meth

OMG, I remember watching this when I worked at TRU!! Everything in this video is iconic (maybe not the smocks). IMO, TRU in the later years lost their vision. They changed everything that made TRU the place to be. Bring back the old store layouts, colors and store fronts. Bring back TRU!
